It has 6,000+ corporate customers worldwide. Sansan Inc. dominates its market in Japan, and is available in an entirely English system. Users increase productivity and efficiency, more effectively follow up on leads, and companies change how they work, all benefitting the bottom line. Sansan is centered on business cards, which are a rich source of first-party data, with superb accuracy. With this in mind, we use a proprietary combination of OCR and highly secure human transcription, in harmony with machine learning, to deliver 99.9% accurate digitization. And it's not just English and Japanese – Sansan's intelligent data recognition can read and digitize most of the world's major languages. This business card data serves as the core of a proprietary and shareable database of all contacts that a company acquires. The database grows into a priceless company asset, accessible via web and mobile apps. I have tried to use several name card digitalization tools in the past and this is the most convenient one in terms of accuracy and user interface. It is also possible to access to database of my colleagues in the same organization. **What do you dislike about Sansan?** Sometimes I hesitate to digitalize business cards of my private network because it is corporate contract and everyone in the organization can access to the data. **What problems is Sansan solving and how is that benefiting you?** It enables me to reduce a lot of time to search person who I met in the past. It is also easy to make a phone call or e-mails directly from Sansan app. Regularly I receive information about which clients in the database are promoted or transferred to another division and obviously it contributes to upgrade my communication with clients. ### 4. It is very helpful to find person by company's name and shows name of person, division, title, who at inside company can connect and even the timing first exchanged business card. User interface on its website is generally good. **What do you dislike about Sansan?** No surprising function either offered or informed by Sansan - I am using it a mere name-card info storage function. A small UI I do not like is that when searching the name-card info on the top page, the default setting is "search within my cards," not "search with in the company's database." **Recommendations to others considering Sansan:** N/A **What problems is Sansan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sharing the business contacts among the team "in a forced manner," so that nobody would be allowed to keep the contact to his/her own. Registration of business card can either be done by dedicated scanner that Sansan provides (which is very speedy and fast), as well as auto detection camera in the Sansan app. Retrieving card data is also very easy. Business wise, very efficient to share and see other colleague's relationship info. **What do you dislike about Sansan?** Not much disadvantages of using Sansan. Sansan integrates with my phone and it shows the caller name when I receive a call from a business contact. No specific training required to operate with Sansan. **What do you dislike about Sansan?** Not that I can think of for now. It is a little bit pricey. **What problems is Sansan solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can always give the information (title, etc.) of a business contact to my boss, who doesn't manage business cards on his own. There's no longer trouble physically manage and store business cards. All the employees who receive and handle business cards enjoy benefits of Sansan.
