"Salesforce B2B Commerce: Powerful B2B Hierarchies, SSO, Custom Pricing & RBAC"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

As an Identity Engineer, what I appreciate most about Salesforce B2B Commerce is how naturally it maps to complex organizational hierarchies. It doesn’t just treat customers as individual users; it recognizes them as business entities with nuanced procurement rules and negotiated contracts. The platform’s out-of-the-box ability to connect Identity (SSO) with custom pricing and RBAC makes it a strategic asset for engineering-led organizations that want to digitize and manage high-scale B2B relationships. What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

While the platform is unmatched for complex B2B logic, the GMV-based pricing model can feel like a “success tax,” which makes long-term TCO forecasting harder. On top of that, the architectural overhead involved in migrating away from legacy Visualforce elements into a modern LWR environment represents a substantial engineering investment. It’s a powerful engine, but it demands a very specific—and costly—set of mechanics to keep it operating at peak performance over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined, Customizable B2B Buying Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

What I like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce is how it creates a streamlined and personalized buying experience for business customers while integrating directly with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. The platform makes it easier to manage customer relationships, orders, pricing, and account data all in one place, which improves efficiency and organization.

I also like the level of customization and automation available. Businesses can create tailored experiences for different clients, automate workflows, and provide real-time access to products, pricing, inventory, and order tracking. This helps improve both the customer experience and internal operations.

Another major advantage is scalability. Salesforce B2B Commerce is powerful enough to support growing businesses while providing strong reporting, analytics, and integration capabilities. Overall, it helps simplify complex sales processes, improve customer engagement, and create a more efficient e-commerce experience for both businesses and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

One thing I dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce is that the platform can have a steep learning curve, especially for new users or smaller teams without dedicated technical support. Because the system is highly customizable and feature-rich, setup and configuration can sometimes feel complex and time-consuming.

I also found that certain customizations and integrations may require developer assistance, which can increase implementation costs and slow down changes or updates. At times, the interface can feel overwhelming due to the large number of tools and settings available.

Another challenge is that the platform may feel more robust than necessary for smaller businesses with simpler sales processes. While the capabilities are powerful, fully utilizing the system often requires training, ongoing management, and a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem. Overall, while Salesforce B2B Commerce offers excellent functionality and scalability, ease of use and implementation could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Configurable and Accessible, but with an Improvable Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

I use Salesforce B2B Commerce as the main CRM for recording business activities, and I find it very useful for tracking all business opportunities and email outreach. I like that it is easy to configure for what my company needs. One of the things I value most is the possibility for anyone in my company to use it anywhere in the world, along with its mobile version. This allows me to have a meeting and record it from my cell phone, or view the account history before having the meeting, which is very practical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

Interface less user-friendly than competitors. It doesn't allow automating sequences as easily as its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

I like the usability of Salesforce B2B Commerce and its easy integration with other platforms. The platform is very intuitive, allowing the sales team, without needing extensive technical knowledge, to carry out their entire sales flow efficiently to achieve their goals. Additionally, its integration with other platforms like META allows impacting customers with relevant information at the right moment, which creates impact and improves the company's profit margin. "Intuitive and Global, but Improvable in Reports"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

I really like that Salesforce B2B Commerce is a very intuitive, very fast, and very simple platform for any team. Additionally, it is one of the most important platforms worldwide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

I believe that creating the reports is a bit tedious and should improve, but it's the only thing I don't like. Another thing is the issue of downloading the reports, it doesn't work quite well either, so that would be the only drawback of Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Salesforce Integration, But Setup and Customization Can Feel Heavy"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

What I like most is how well it integrates with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. Having customer data, sales processes, and commerce in one place makes it easier to manage B2B relationships and streamline ordering workflows. It’s particularly useful for businesses that deal with complex pricing, bulk orders, or account-based purchasing. The platform is also quite scalable, so it can support growing business needs without major restructuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

The platform can feel heavy and requires time to fully understand, especially during the initial setup. Customizations often need technical support, which can slow things down if you don’t have the right resources. Also, the overall cost can add up as you scale, particularly when additional features or integrations are required. Some parts of the interface could be more intuitive for day-to-day use. "Powerful B2B Commerce for Pricing & Contracts, but Costs Add Up"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

B2B Commerce is built to handle different pricing, contracts, and buyer setups for each customer, so every customer automatically sees the right products, discounts, and payment terms. This makes it easier to move from quote to order and lets you send negotiated CPQ deals straight into the storefront so buyers can place orders on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?

It’s an expensive product with high license, setup, and ongoing support costs, which can be hard for small or mid‑sized companies to afford. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
