Their team designed landing pages and homepage and copied the existing blog section and contact section from our old site. One of our main objectives was to have a fast website, and we’ve had excellent results with the mobile and desktop landing page speed tests. When it comes to the Lighthouse tests for the mobile version’s speed, most of the pages also end up in the 90% range. Their team integrated Stripe for payment API and SendGrid for email API. We also built in some automation features. It wasn't super fancy but was process automation dealing with user accounts, segmenting responsibilities between users, accounts, route accounts, administrator accounts, and recorded accounts. So far, there’s been a lot of interest from the industry on what we’ve built. What’s more, there’s also been a positive response from potential clients and a decent amount of consideration for their feeds and products. We brought everything under one roof, using a homegrown project management system fed by a Zoho CRM instance. Our Project Management tool collects time, material, and cost data and routes it to our Dynamics SL instance. After about 6-9 months, we realized that the system was not built in the way we had envisioned. There were limitations in handling multiple currencies, which caused problems because we have facilities in both Canada and the United States, and project costs are in multiple currencies. The user interface also had issues, making the entire system unreliable. We experimented with the existing system for a while before deciding to find a partner to stabilize the situation and, eventually, build a new solution. Saigon Technology came up with the concept of CUSTOM SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT. They began with discovery to learn about the issues we were experiencing with the existing system, on which we had already collected a fair amount of data. They had to peel the layers back like an onion because the person who created and built it was no longer with our company and had left no documentation. After we had sufficiently stabilized the existing platform, we began developing the new system. Saigon Technology built a custom CRM to our specifications for our front-end sales and marketing team. The CRM sends data to our Project Management tool, which is also custom-built for our needs. Furthermore, we created a time-tracking tool that allows everyone to input time and materials for their projects. We have three websites that we’re implementing different stages of the schema code. Saigon Technology is utilizing one of the legal aid websites they operate and are applying that markup. Their team is a part of the evaluative process. The team have been doing evaluations of the code itself. In a few instances where Saigon Technology has needed to check devices physically, we've shipped the devices to their offices, and the team sent them back after they were inspected. Saigon Technology has taken over the management of software we use in-house, but they don't own our software as per their own recommendation. Meanwhile, with our previous IT services provider, we had to get their permission to transfer software ownership.
