What do you like best about Sage Business Cloud Accounting?

My organization migrated from an on-premises based accounting software to Sage Cloud accounting. The gains were immense and immediately measurable. Being a service-based IT consulting business where time is money and mobility is an absolute requirement, the cloud-based solution made collaboration with our internal team and audits by our external accountants a breeze as no travelling is required. What do you dislike about Sage Business Cloud Accounting?

- The automatic bank feeds function has been a problem and is prone to crashing. - Sage should also develop better training material, preferably on youtube. - The system does not warn you when there are duplicate bank transactions captured - this could be improved on. - The system does not inform you when there are new journals posted from the Sage Payroll integration - There should be alerts whenever changes have been made by the user or by other users (and integrated apps). - Support needs work - I have often spoken to support technicians/agents who have no knowledge of accounting or very little knowledge of how their own software works. I would recommend Sage Business Cloud Accounting to any organization that is currently using on-premise accounting software. - We have completely removed the need for an outsourced bookkeeper as the system is easy enough to use for a basic user. - We have saved time and money in human resources and paperwork as we now keep electronic records on the cloud. - The financial data is easily exportable into other formats such as Excel, CSV and PDF - This makes it very easy and efficient to use the data in Sage in other financial modelling software. What do you like best about Sage Business Cloud Accounting?

I see the payment updates, Age of Receivables per account view, able to download in EXCEL file which is very helpful in balancing my data entries with the source document. I regularly enter transactions for medical billing and I can balance this right away after all records were entered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This system has been very helpful in enabling my departments to easily track all our financial operations. It works great for small and medium businesses and can grow as a company. By being in the browser this eliminates the need to set up a separate server to host all the accounting, CRM and finance we need, which is a great advantage. What do you like best about Sage Business Cloud Accounting?

The best feature of Sage Cloud is the automated synchronization we get with various bank and credit card accounts, which eliminates a lot of manual reconciliation, and all key financial activities are automatically tracked. Time flows can also be easily tracked, and billable hours are generated with just a few clicks.

The best thing about Sage Cloud by far was the invoicing module. Pending and sent invoices can be easily tracked, and clients have the option to pay from within the invoice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sage Cloud is an incredible tool aimed at cloud accounting, and the whole purpose of the application is to make it accessible from anywhere. I experienced network issues a few times, and I think this is one area that needed improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think Sage has done a superb job with their cloud-based application, and the main thing they might need to work on is providing better customer support. What problems is Sage Business Cloud Accounting solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage Business Cloud was particularly helpful in accounts receivable and accounts payable areas where invoicing clients was actually easy, and it improved our collection times, and revenue was improved by over 7%. Payables were also significantly streamlined, and charges reflecting in the bank account would automatically reconcile with the system-generated invoices.

Another great benefit we felt was the improvement in accounting reports. Past accounting software we used didn't allow data to flow how I would have liked, and I needed a reporting system that would take me right from booking incoming material receipts to delivery notes and sales revenue with a clear separation of the cost of goods sold and other related expenses.
