It has made my job of filming and editing so much easier. Gone are the days of stressing over filming locations that are reverbing and background noise. RX takes care of noise and reverb in a few clicks. It works just as well on high-end shot gun mics and iPhones! I can process footage directly in Preimere, making editing smooth and simple. **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** I wish RX provided more education on using the tools to get the most out of them. This would be especially helpful for the video space when you are not an audio professional. I hope they expand AI into the tools for more advanced but simplified help over time. If they offered cloud upload, processing, and download for video or audio clips would be great too to make workflows even easier. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use RX to clean up the audio for video. I use it as a plugin in Premiere Pro daily. It works in real time with any audio, which is fantastic. If you need deeper editing or the file is long I would recommend opening it directly in the RX app and export it back to Premiere. ### 2. I always try to avoid background noises, but if any rx is missed it is the best solution. **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** I do not like that some effects when you apply too much affect considerably the original audio, so you have to apply it with great care since these processes are highly destructive, and there is no way to go back once rendered **Recommendations to others considering RX Post Production Suite:** It is a great tool if used with caution, since if you exceed the level of some parameters the results turn out to be very artificial. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have restored voice recordings, since sometimes the hissing is excessive, I also restore the dynamics of the letter p and the wind in the voice recordings. and sometimes I have removed annoying distant noises ### 3. Additionally, the various options for removing unwanted noise are of acceptable quality as long as they are used with care. **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** I don't like the fact that it doesn't have support for languages other than English. I would like you to include a Spanish version. It's a bit difficult to find all of them. I think the interface can become more intuitive. **Recommendations to others considering RX Post Production Suite:** If you are going to use this software to clean your audio files of annoying noise, you should learn to take special care when applying the effects, since applying too much can considerably dirty the original audio. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have cleaned up annoying noises in my recordings such as background noise lisp, clip and pops, among others. In addition, I have been able to divide the songs into tracks with artificial intelligence, this is very useful for me to identify each of the pieces of a mix. ### 5. The way that it seamlessly integrates into both Pro Tools and Wavelab platforms, as well as having audio suite and plugin options it is one of the most regularly used tools in my day to day workflow. **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** Navigation of a waveform in RX9 is sometimes cumbersome. The recent introduction of using a mouse scroll wheel or gestures to scrub the timeline is a great new feature but I think that can be expanded on. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Taking an audio production from start to finish. During the editing phase, the RX post-production suite makes it possible to perform surgical noise removal, ambiance matching, dialogue matching, etc... All issues that I struggled with addressing before using the RX post-production suite. ### 6. The best audio editor **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Mafdy M. | Android Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020 **What do you like best about RX Post Production Suite?** this software, whatever the situation it is very reliable, i use it with 100% certainty that the problem will be solved, i used it with recordings from a home studio to mobile phone recordings for doing videos that had tons of audio problems and noise, clipping and distortion, wind and many other stuff, i can tell you this software was able to solve it, just with enough patience and practice it can be possible, from simple audio editing like cutting till the most complicated stuff, this audio editor can do it, breath control does really help you control the breath to a very good extent, de bleed helps if the metronome sounds are still present in the recording for example, de click, de crackle and de clip help a lot with issues that can't be fixed in a recording,de plosive does some wonders when no pop filter is present, de wind helps with really strong winds in a recording, dialogue contour is an underestimated one it really helps when doing voice overs, and maintaining the tone of the speaker, dialogue isolate helps in separating the voice from any background noise, also if any eq, loudness, leveling, normalizing is required it there as well in RX, as well as using an external plugin, there are several options to select any part in the audio file where certain frequencies or all frequencies, which helps in identifying dog barks or birds noises, car noises and horns, smartly select them then remove them using spectral repair which is a very powerful feature in RX, you can even select the fundamental frequency then there is an option to select it's harmonics, overall the software is perfect for audio editing and fixing i can't recommend it enough, Music Rebalance is an amazing feature ! you can control volumes of the lead vocal, bass , percussion OR others, i find this feature even helpful in listening to some parts in any music for practice or close listening, finally the repair assistant which can help who just started using the software, it listens to the audio and identifies some problems and gives you some suggestions to help fix it **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** actually there is nothing to dislike, this software has all options that you are going to need, everything option and function is very reliable and it will work to a great extent, some people expect magic from the music re-balance and many do use this extensively but let's face it, it is very difficult for any software to be able to isolate musical and vocal parts from one file, music re-balance usually struggles with tracks which have a choir with lead vocals, also sometimes some instruments that have percussive elements are considered in the percussion section along with the drums and percussion **Recommendations to others considering RX Post Production Suite:** Experiment with all the possible options and take some time trying them all and different combinations, sometimes the best results take some work to get them **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** i had multiple recordings from various mobile phones to professional recording done in home studios, using RX in the right way to find and fix all problems always some experimenting but there is no problem that i couldn't fix to some extent! ### 7. And it also includes equalizer, reverb and many other instruments. Repair Assistant, Music Rebalance, Dialogue Contour, Multichannel Support, Dialogue De-Reverb, almost all usable auto-learns, and then making small changes, make you cry miraculously. There is a tool for isolating and eliminating all types of frequencies, all types of noise, reverberation, equalization and quick mastering. Or to retouch intonation, isolate a frequency of a musical instrument, remap the timing. This update to version 7 was truly a great upgrade packed with new tools over the previous ones. Even for those who have a recording studio, I believe it is a fundamental software **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** It is expensive, but the potential of the software justifies the price. Not simple to use, but once mastered it is miraculous. On the internet and on youtube there are many tutorials that in addition to making them understand the potential, help a lot those who approach this miraculous software for the first time **Recommendations to others considering RX Post Production Suite:** The more you study it, the more you will be able to make the most of it. It has immense potential. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It happens that you have to record sound in the car, or have to quickly record in crowded places or with wind and noise in the background. This powerful software has saved my audio many times. It can allow a user to easily remove reverb from an audio track, as well as remove clicks or audio artifacts quickly and easily using the software rather than having to move into the audio track and remove each individual click or clip, which is extremely time-consuming and demanding on the user. **What do you dislike about RX Post Production Suite?** The interface can be hard to understand at first, but it is much easier if you have used other iZotope interfaces before. If you have not, it may be difficult to find out where certain features are. However, there are also plenty of tutorials online that can help walk you through this on youtube and on the iZotope website. **Recommendations to others considering RX Post Production Suite:** Check this awesome program out if you are editing audio a lot and want to save time. Especially if you are isolating vocal tracks. **What problems is RX Post Production Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving the problem of editing audio in a fast and efficient manner that is much easier than clipping audio files individually, or using stacks of different plugins like declickers, deessers, and more that would require much more work and also may inaccurately affect other portions of the audio that a user is not looking to affect.
