RPNow enables institutions to see students, know who they are, and what they’re doing during an online examination. Using a standard computer webcam with an internet connection, students can take a remote proctored exam online the moment they are ready – anytime, anywhere, from home or workplace - without compromising academic integrity. Efficient and cost-effective, instructors or administrators can easily set up exams using RPNow’s seamless LTI-based integration with any LMS. RPNow is scalable for any group size, one from test instance – to thousands. ## RPNow Reviews ### 1. The only thing that works is the customer service reps that help with all of these issues. **What do you dislike about RPNow?** There are so many technical issues that come about using RPNow, one being that it kicks you out of the system before even logging on to the certain area you're looking for. Very annoying. **Recommendations to others considering RPNow:** I would highly reccommend using the software Lockdown browser as it is very easy to use, not much is stressful and support rocks. **What problems is RPNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have realized that RPNow is not as efficient as we need it be. Another software that has been used is lockdown browser and that works fantastically. ### 2. There is a visual inspection, an audio inspection, and also the ability to keep track of open programs on the computer in use. There is also the ability to take a practice test , which allows students to familiarize themselves with the platform, before the actual exam. This is very useful as the platform itself is a bit complicated, and several students have some small difficulty logging in successfully the first time. Practice tests, I believe, are not charged for, since there is no assessment begin performed. **What do you dislike about RPNow?** It is a bit tedious for the student. Requires a log in process that many students get confused by because of a 'password login.' I've also had a number of students complain that the program just shuts down on them during the exam. Also, it has some difficulty working with Safari **Recommendations to others considering RPNow:** Great product. Has a great capability to assist with some of the difficulties of online learning. It also offers a 'practice' mode for which there is no cost to take. This helps to familiarize students with the program before the test date. There are some issues though - but RPNow is aware, so I am hopeful that they will find solutions soon. **What problems is RPNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to administer tests under exam conditions to online students. ### 3. I've run a pilot of RPNOW and have had zero problems with my faculty and students accessing and using RPNow. RPNow has solved overcrowding at our Testing Centers and is becoming our go to solution for online or at a distance exams. However the best part of RPNow is their team members. Fantastic support, fantastic response times, and a willingness to listen to critical feedback and incorporate feature requests into updates of the software. **What do you dislike about RPNow?** There isn't very much to dislike. One suggestion that I've given as a feature request is how completed proctored reviews are delivered and the amount of detail at a glance that is provided to the instructor so that the instructor can focus only on any flagged suspicious activity and ignore proctored results that do not have any suspicious activity. **Recommendations to others considering RPNow:** Take a moment and talk with the RPNow team. Share with them your particular needs and compare their responses with other vendors. I expect that you will find the experience a refreshing one as compared to other vendors. **What problems is RPNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Meeting high demand of online exams while maintaining academic integrity, Also meeting the growing demand of online, blended, and at a distance learning. As an example I have a student who is an acrobat for the Carnival Cruise line. This student is able to complete learning objectives with online testing from the cruise ship and still maintain the academic integrity demanded for exams from our Nursing curriculum. ### 4. RPnow gives students the option of taking their proctored final exam while away. Our students work through their online courses at their own pace. Having RPnow, students can take their final exam as soon as they are finished with all of their coursework. We have worked with RPnow for the past two summers. RPnow staff members help us manage our teachers and proctored tests. Additionally, RPnow worked with us to provide a simple way to submit a parental agreement. **What do you dislike about RPNow?** Not really a dislike, more of a miscommunication on our part. Typically we handle all the support issues for our courses. RPnow offers students with wonderful support. Our students are often confused on which support path to follow. Our students travel the world. We have run into issues for students that are traveling outside of the country and their ability to run they system. **What problems is RPNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** Students need proctoring options. RPnow clearly is a great option for our online students and a great solution for our academy. It is low cost. It is easy to use. If there are issues, RPnow support has been a great asset. ### 5.
