"The definitive "Nerve Center" for our project delivery and resource orchestration."
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane’s most striking quality is its relentless development cycle. Over the past twelve months, improvements in resource allocation and intelligent automation have genuinely transformed our operational efficiency. It goes well beyond basic task management by giving us a high-level view of team bandwidth, which helps us proactively balance workloads and protect against employee burnout.

I’m also very impressed with how their analytics suite has evolved. We can now pull deep, actionable insights into execution timelines and overall project health directly within the platform. By removing the need for manual data exports, Rocketlane has become our definitive “single source of truth” for all client-facing engagements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Because the platform offers such deep configuration options, there’s an undeniable learning curve during the initial onboarding phase. It took our team several weeks of experimenting to dial in our standardized global templates. If you’re looking for a basic, “plug-and-play” checklist, the platform’s complexity can feel daunting at first—but the long-term ROI is significant once the system is fully calibrated to your workflow. "End-to-End PSA with Real-Time Reporting, Customization, and Leading AI Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

It’s a true end-to-end PSA tool that provides real-time reporting for PS leaders to run their business, while also being highly customizable to fit their specific business needs. Rocketlane is leading the way in automation and the use of AI to differentiate their product from competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Form filling cannot be made available to non-licensed users at the project level. This is a gap for our handoff process as we want everything living in Rocketlane for complete engagement visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rocketlane Keeps Customer Implementations Organized and Transparent"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

One of the things I like most about Rocketlane is that it gives me a clear view of my contribution across multiple customer projects. As someone who delivers client training, it's very helpful to track which training sessions I've completed at different phases of each implementation without having to maintain separate records.

I also use it regularly to log and update my timesheets, which is quick and straightforward. Since the work updates from the entire team are captured in one place, it's easy to understand who is working on what, monitor overall project progress, and get a good sense of team productivity.

Task assignment is simple, and I like that projects can be configured based on customer needs. Another feature I find valuable is the access control—it lets us decide exactly what information should be visible to clients while keeping internal discussions and project details restricted. Overall, Rocketlane has made collaboration, project tracking, and customer implementations much more organized and transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

I would like to see more flexibility in reporting and dashboards, especially when trying to generate custom reports or analyze individual contributions across projects in different ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"romain"
3/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane makes client onboarding much more structured and transparent. The ability to share a dedicated project portal with clients, track milestones collaboratively, and keep all communication in one place has significantly reduced back-and-forth emails. The task templates save a lot of setup time for recurring onboarding projects, and clients appreciate the visibility it gives them on progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

The initial setup and configuration can take some time, especially when customizing project templates to fit specific workflows. The reporting features could also be more flexible, as some advanced filtering options are missing. A steeper learning curve for new users who are not familiar with project management tools. "Transparent, User-Friendly Platform That Streamlines Onboarding and Ownership"
4/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Absolutely transparent and UI-friendly. It fills the gap perfectly between PMs, CS teams, and the client. It has definitely reduced onboarding times by about 15%. Ownership is also clearly defined, so everyone knows what’s assigned to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

The Mobile App isnt great, the UI and the general app could use a lot of work on the Mobile Platform. Timesheets should have a better integration with other tools like MS Outlook and MS Teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thank you, Aaditya! A 15% reduction in onboarding time with clients fully in the loop and ownership clearly defined across your CS projects is a meaningful, measurable outcome. We're glad the platform is delivering that for your team. On the mobile app experience and MS Outlook/Teams timesheet integration, those are specific gaps worth raising directly with your CSM. They can advise on what's currently available and make sure your feedback reaches the right channel. We're also at support@rocketlane.com anytime.

"Purpose-Built Onboarding Platform That Unifies Collaboration and Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

What I like most about Rocketlane is how purpose-built it is for customer onboarding and implementation teams. It’s not just a project management tool. It brings together collaboration, visibility, and customer experience in one place, which makes it much more impactful for cross-functional teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

We’re experiencing a few hiccups with customizing the feedback form, along with some limitations in how it’s currently sent to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Notch Onboarding, Support, and Customizable Client View"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

The onboarding experience, support, and wealth of features. The user interface that you can customize for the client view is also top-notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

With so many features available, not every one is going to be an exact fit or a home run. That’s why it’s important to dig into the details, clarify which features matter most, ask questions, and evaluate them carefully. In our case, the Sheets feature wasn’t one of our main requirements, but we still took time to explore it. Ultimately, it didn’t offer all the spreadsheet capabilities we needed. That said, the features it does include weren’t broken, and it’s possible they’ll expand what it can do over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Client-Facing Project Tool That's Easy to Actually Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

Rocketlane has been a great fit for our team because it's genuinely easy to set up and use — you don't need a ton of technical knowledge to get automations running, which means our team can actually maintain it ourselves. Having one platform for both our internal team and our clients has been huge. Clients are automatically reminded about their tasks, which has helped us streamline delivery without having to chase people down manually.

A few other things that have made a real difference: the chat feature integrates directly with our Slack channels, so client communication doesn't require jumping between tools. The client portal is customizable and looks really polished — it's a good reflection of our brand. Fields are easily editable right from the projects view without having to drill down, custom fields are simple to create, and revenue percentage is automatically calculated based on task completion milestones we set. The automations we've built have saved us meaningful time and given better visibility to other teams across the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

Since it's newer software, there are occasional unexplained glitches — fields won't sort, you refresh and it works fine, or there's a delay in the Slack integration. Minor, but noticeable. Some fields can only be edited in certain views, which isn't always intuitive. The custom reporting also has limitations — you can't combine a date field and a number field into a calculated formula the way you can in a Google Sheet, which limits what we can pull from it. And we haven't been able to sync tasks to Google Calendar, which would be useful for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Krithika Anand of Rocketlane

Thank you, Janae! Having your team own automations without needing technical support is exactly the kind of independence Rocketlane is built to enable, glad that's working well for you. Your feedback on calculated formulas combining date and number fields, and Google Calendar task sync, is specific and useful. These aren't available today, but your CSM is the right person to capture those requests and advise on any workarounds available in the meantime. Reach out at support@rocketlane.com if anything else comes up.

"Simple and effective for managing client onboarding projects"
5/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

I mainly use Rocketlane to manage client onboarding projects and coordinate tasks between internal teams and customers. What I like most, is the ability to create projects, assign tasks to team members and track progress in one place. It helps keep everyone aligned on what needs to be completed and by when.

Its built-in client collaboration features are also very helpful. Being able to communicate with customers directly within the platform during onboarding projects helps avoid long email threads and keep conversations tied to the specific project tasks.

One other thing that I appreciate, is how easy it was to start using Rocketlane. It has an intuitive interface, and I was able to quickly understand how to use it. Projects, tasks and client communications are very easy to find, and you do not need much training to understand how to use these features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

One limitation I noticed, is that it can be difficult to quickly navigate or switch between multiple projects in the same time. When working on several onboarding projects, I often need to open one project, check or update a task, and then move to another project. Currently, this requires closing the current project and navigating to the next one, which can slow things down a bit. Having an easier way to keep multiple projects open or switch between them would improve the workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Akshaya Nagarajan of Rocketlane

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We are glad to hear that Rocketlane is helping you effectively manage client onboarding projects, keep teams aligned, and streamline communication with both internal stakeholders and customers.

We also appreciate your feedback on navigating between multiple projects. We have been continuously enhancing the experience to make navigation smoother and more efficient across projects.

Features like improved project views and navigation patterns are designed to help reduce friction, and you can explore some of these capabilities on the attached link.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback. It plays an important role in helping us improve Rocketlane for teams like yours.

"Rocketlane Keeps Everything in One Place and Easy to Manage"
4/5
What do you like best about Rocketlane?

As a PM, Rocketlane has been extremely helpful. It keeps all the details I need in one place and is genuinely user-friendly, which makes it easy to stay on top of things. Overall, I really like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

It can’t be integrated with Google Calendar, so I have to manually add a time block for the project engineer on the calendar and then paste the Rocketlane task into the calendar event description. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
