When I used it, it basically posted the same video with only a voiceover. When I upload a song to turn it into a video, the timeline it produces is clear, the lyrics are auto-generated and synched well, and when I use the feature to have an AI generated character sing, generally speaking this works really well. The pricing tier I'm on is $39 a month and I can get 2-3 music videos out of that, however that's using the "Basic" AI gen model, the site also offers "Pro" and "Ultra" but for a non-commercial entity like me, these two models are priced far far out of my range. I also encountered issues when I selected a "Studio Ghibli" preset for an AI video and the system automatically placed a licensed, trademark character from those movies into the videos it generated for me, unprompted, rendering them useless. I need to turn my AI songs into videos and Revid accomplishes this by giving me a simple way to explain my concept, upload my track, synch the lyrics, and generate up to 5 AI characters to use in the video. I find the many features impressive as I'm still exploring and learning new things about what it can do. I'm a bit frustrated with a recent project where Revid AI wouldn't allow me to post, claiming there was no video selected even though the video was visible. Also, there's no clear way to get a refund on the credits used for such attempts, which has happened to me more than once. If there's a way to do this, it's not readily visible, so it would help to either make it more visible or create that feature for crediting projects that don't go as planned. I love that Revid AI allows me to generate quite well-made videos with voice, music, and animations. I also really value that it consumes few tokens and offers impressive quality. The option to edit the result is super useful. I like that I can configure many aspects of the video, such as the quality, the AI model, whether it includes subtitles, which images I want to include, and whether or not I want to censor the result, in addition to being able to choose the aspect ratio. I appreciate that its initial setup is quite intuitive because I didn't get lost at any point, despite it being the first time I used it. I think Revid AI could improve in the aspect of generating animations. Although it does well, sometimes it is very crude. There are times when it's just an image moving from one side to another. I've been struggling with other AIs, but with Revid, I solved this challenge with just a little video concept and one click. I didn't have to try hard or prompt much, just a little description and character selection, and my 4-minute video is set. The initial setup was smooth without a single hassle, and Revid AI trimmed down my staff, saving me some money and time. I rate it a 10, as I think everything works just fine. I find Revid AI's toolset to be top notch, especially in generating scope and granularity. If you're willing to learn and be a bit patient, the possibilities with this tool are endless. I find the moderation aspect of Revid AI quite problematic, especially since efforts to moderate images of the nude female form can push people towards extreme behavior like hiding in the shadows or seeking out inappropriate content. The more that moderation tries to control, the more it drives people to find loopholes or do things that aren't suitable. There's also a disconnect when platforms like Instagram and YouTube can have explicit content readily available, but Revid AI has strict bans affecting artistic expression. I appreciate the good editing tool app that lets you change scenes as you like. My favorite feature is the music to video option, which creates content exactly based on the music I have. They have multiple different styles to pick from, but the issue is that you need to commit to create the video before you even know what the final output will look like for every scene.
