Having attempted to use lawyers in the past for a similar price, Repool's usability was on a different level. They did all of our offering docs, LLC agreements, banking layer (Mercury), custodian/broker (IB), KYC/AML, let us use their awesome dashboard for investor onboarding, connected us to someone for blue sky / ADV, and throughout the process told us exactly what info was needed where, and what was happening next. They were prompt in answering all of our questions and resolving all small issues. It was truly one of the best user experiences of my lifetime and deserves the moniker of "solution". **What do you dislike about Repool?** There isn't a lot I've disliked about Repool; zero problems with the core product. Very tiny aspects that could go better: - It would have been nice if they referred us to accounting / auditing firms - Their website is currently undergoing a lot of improvements and some of those improvements lead to bugs that last a few days - When we first started using them the banking layer was hidden, which sometimes caused a one-day delay in wire transfers (but I think they fixed this) As you can tell from the rest of my review, none of these matter in the slightest given their incredible core execution. **What problems is Repool solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem Repool solved was the very complicated process of keeping track of all the requirements for fund launch. When trying to google around for the relevant filings and work with lawyers who don't explain the different pieces, it can be very hard to actually set everything up. Their investor dashboard is great, but the core problem they solved was ushering through the paperwork jungle. ### 2. They are detail-oriented, super responsive, and make the process of setting up a fund as hassle-free and clear as possible. We know we're in great hands with Repool and couldn't be more thrilled with the service they provided. **What do you dislike about Repool?** There is truly nothing here that I'd call out. There is nothing fun about the compliance and legal items needed to set up a fun, but it's obvious to me that Repool makes this experience as pleasant as it could be. **What problems is Repool solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before finding Repool, my co-founder and I had an edge, a personal track record, and some willing investors, but we had zero clue how to create an actual hedge fund. Within three weeks of meeting with the Repool team, we had a full hedge fund set up, including the LLC's, brokerage account, and compliance/legal items completed. I cannot stress enough how impossible this timeline would've been for us without Repool. In addition to fund spin-up, Repool makes a million other things easier for us - their investor platform (which offers a better UX than most software companies of their age) allows our investors to contribute capital and view their returns. They also make sure we stay on top of ongoing compliance items - for example, as part of our partnership, they connected us with a partner who handles compliance. In summary, Repool makes it so that my co-founder and I can focus 95% of our energy on one thing: returns. For almost everything else, we rest easy knowing Repool will make sure we're set up to stay compliant and be successful. ### 3. The integration and setup process for Repool's administration service was easy to follow and was completed promptly. **What do you dislike about Repool?** N/A - Repool is the ideal platform that has all the features one could need for modern fund administration. **What problems is Repool solving and how is that benefiting you?** Repool offers a simple turnkey solution to manage all parts of the fund administration lifecycle, reducing the amount of effort necessary to start a new fund. Their solution benefits my startup quant firm by handling all back office functionality needed for an investment fund. ### 4. That being said, any time I brought something like this up, Repool's team quickly implemented the changes and streamlined the processes, and I believe they have worked all of those out at this point. **What problems is Repool solving and how is that benefiting you?** Repool provided the most comprehensive fund launch service out there. ### 5.
