Raw & Well Reviews & Product Details

Raw&Well - Raw dog food calculator built on NRC 2006 standards. What is it? Raw & Well is a raw dog food calculator and meal planner built for dog owners who want to feed their pets in a more balanced and informed way. The platform is based on NRC 2006 standards, which are widely used in veterinary nutrition, and was co-authored by Dr. Sarah Missaoui DVM, who has more than 21 years of experience in canine nutrition. The tool is made for people who already feed raw, or want to start, but do not want to guess if their dog is getting the right nutrients. It supports different feeding styles, including PMR, BARF, and custom meal models. How it works Users start by entering their dog’s profile, including key details needed to build a suitable feeding plan. Raw & Well then checks 43 micronutrients using absorption-corrected calculations. This means the app does not only look at what is in the food, but also how much of it the dog can actually absorb. If something is missing, the platform shows the exact nutrient gaps and suggests which foods can help close them. Supplements are suggested only when food alone is not enough. The tool also includes 4-week meal planning, symptom tracking, and a shopping list, making it easier to plan meals in advance and manage everything in one place. A 7-day free trial is available with no credit card required. Case Studies A dog owner who feeds raw at home can use Raw & Well to check if the meals are truly balanced and not missing important vitamins or minerals. Someone switching from commercial food to raw feeding can use the platform to build a safer starting plan instead of relying on random recipes online. A more experienced raw feeder can use it to compare PMR, BARF, or custom models and fine-tune meals based on their dog’s needs. Raw & Well can also help owners track symptoms over time and connect diet changes with how their dog feels, eats, and behaves.
