The unfortunate trade-off with expanding the process screen was diminishing the operator and parameter portions of the general interface. Some operator errors were vague in description and became extremely difficult to diagnose without starting over completely. **Recommendations to others considering Altair AI Studio:** I highly recommend that you work on the hands-on tutorials that are offered within the RapidMiner program. There is also an extensive collection of in-house tutorial videos that are helpful with explaining differences among operators and models. **What problems is Altair AI Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Predictive modeling was the core of my utilization of your resource. The companion book Data Mining for the Masses is definitely worth the money as well! **What do you dislike about Altair AI Studio?** It is a little limiting when it comes to trying to preprocess data - in that you are limited to the UI capabilities. It takes a little while to find the correct adapters to use and then a bunch of trial and error to understand the impact of each variable for the adapter. That said, once i worked with it long enough, i had a really good understanding of how the adapter works. So, maybe that's not a bad thing. Charts are a little difficult to work with and don't seem as intuitive as I would have expected.
