&lt;p&gt;To your question about what creates trust over several cycles: the pattern that comes through most in this category is traceability rather than speed. Controllers tend to describe confidence in terms of being able to get from a reported number back to the supporting work without asking anyone, which is why FloQast&#39;s rollforwards, notes and sign-off trail get picked out so consistently, and why Sage Intacct&#39;s consolidations and internal controls come up in the same breath. Numbers being accurate matters, but being able to demonstrate why they&#39;re accurate is what survives an audit conversation.&lt;/p&gt;
