It can work as an easy, no code solution for many businesses. The no code components are powerful and allow for a wide range of database uses. Ragic has been flexible enough to serve as a CRM, resource management, and laboratory information management system. With no code solutions, we were complemented on the thoroughness of our systems by 3rd party assessors. All of this was easy to implement. As we've grown, so have our database needs. We've expanded our Ragic development into Javascript, which has allowed us create a very strong and robust system for our laboratory, client management, and resource management. Javascript takes Ragic to new heights with data validations, workflows, and automation. Just when we thought we couldn't do more with Ragic, the world opened up for us with Javascript. Ragic integrates readily with many other platforms through API, which extensively expands its usefulness. Throughout our 8 year journey, Ragic support has been very helpful. They are responsive and friendly. Ragic support takes each request seriously and we've always felt supported. This sets them apart from other services we've considered in the past. Overall, Ragic is a sandbox ready for your business and can satisfy many industries with their environment. They are not limited by modules like other platforms. And it's easy to learn! Ragic is our number one platform used in our company and we use it every day. **What do you dislike about Ragic?** There isn't much to dislike about Ragic. However, there is room for improvement. Their built-in reporting functions could use more documentation and expanded capabilities. It's served us for years, but as our needs have changed we've required more thorough reports. For example, directly exporting report data into Excel would be very powerful. We've gotten around this by using custom Excel documents with VBA and used Ragic's Mail Merge capabilities to expand our reporting capabilities. Even if their built-in reports are limited, Ragic offers a way for us to report through other tools. As our database has grown, so has the number of pages. Moving those page between different tab menus is cumbersome. More so, generating reports from data in different tab menus is also a challenge. **What problems is Ragic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ragic has allowed us to: Create a CRM to manage client and project data. Create a laboratory information management system. Manage company resources. We've been able to create a custom solution that is unique and flexible for our niche industry. Our company requires a platform that can manage projects, clients, resources, field data, and lab data. Most companies in our industries use multiple platforms to satisfy these needs, but we are able to have one platform: Ragic. Through Ragic's flexibility, we've been able to create an effective database that is highly competitive to our peers and for a great price. Creating a homemade LIMS set us apart from our competitors and gave us the edge we needed to grow. ### 2. We like that it is cloud-based, allows for mulitple users to udpate the database at the same time, and offers security options like two-factor authentication. **What do you dislike about Ragic?** We experienced some issues while using Google Chrome to edit and build our databases. It turned out that some Google Chrome extensions can interfere with Ragic's functionality. In addition, sometimes the database builder tools are not as intuitive as one would expect. We have been able to find workarounds, but it can slow down database creation. **Recommendations to others considering Ragic:** Ragic has several free options, so there is no downside to giving it a shot! **What problems is Ragic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ragic has allowed us to merge several internal databases into one database– allowing for much better data input, review, and sharing. Powerful application that can handle both efficiency and complexity. The support team is reachable and super fast to respond. Downtimes are being handled quickly, urgency and impact are their best practice. **What do you dislike about Ragic?** UI is quite a bit a first gen view. Although it has a drag and drop feature I think maybe enhancing the UI a bit will make it more presentable. Plus, there's only a limited font and please expand the formulas of Excel **Recommendations to others considering Ragic:** Ragic is basically the easiest Database Management System. If you have knowledge in Excel + Javascript + SQL then you're in the right app. Even a little knowledge in Excel, Ragic can save you in a bunch of systems that you might need. **What problems is Ragic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Database Management basically. Organizing stuffs that the normal person wont be able to do with their Excel or GSheet. Ragic is a game changer specially if you are a fan of designing from scratch. It's exciting that I've been able to do pretty much anything I have thought to add so far. Building has been pretty easy, but whenever I need help, there's a support team that can help me through it. **What do you dislike about Ragic?** I haven't run into anything I truly dislike yet, not anything that would keep me from using it. There are some things that were a little more complex to achieve than I would have liked, but they worked out and it will be very simple to use. It's better that the building process was the part that's complex, and not the part where the employees use it. **Recommendations to others considering Ragic:** If you're not sure about it, do the free trial. There is an entire learning section available on the website and a support team that assists during the trial. This will allow me to avoid the hassle and time wasted digging through information to find the error and correct it. The reports I create due to these errors can be done more rapidly. Have nothing positive to say. **What do you dislike about Ragic?** From forms glitching and duplicating to deleting entries on its own and just generally not working properly, Ragic was a pain to use. Maybe a bit outside of what it was intended for, but as a database it really was not a great product.
