"Quickbase Makes Automation and Custom App Building Easy"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I like that Quickbase lets me automate processes and avoid manual work. I’m someone who prefers efficiency, and Quickbase helps me get things done faster without having to deal with repetitive tasks. I was able to build an app from scratch using Quickbase University and the help docs, even though I had never used Quickbase before. It’s satisfying to figure things out and see them work. The platform is flexible, and I’ve been able to customize it to fit our needs, like creating dashboards and reports for supervisors and case managers. It’s also great for tracking and organizing data in a way that’s easy to reference later. I appreciate that Quickbase allows me to make things easier for others to use and access. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Not much, I have heard from people using my application that they have a difficult time understanding the logic but I believe the majority of that frustration will be addressed with the new UI QB uploaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Simplifies Complex Workflows with Flexible, Powerful Reporting"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase makes it easier to manage complex workflows without needing everything to be fully automated. I like that it allows me to create reports and track assignments in a way that’s already simpler than what we had in place before. For example, when we were working on the PTO backup system, Quickbase let us set up relationships and formulas that dynamically adjust based on real-time data, like who’s out on PTO and who their backup is. It’s not perfect, but it’s flexible enough that I can create workarounds, like manual overrides, when needed. I also appreciate how the app leverages relationships and formulas in a clean, straightforward way. It’s not overly complicated, but it’s powerful enough to handle what we need. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The Jinja-specific language means having to learn yet another IT language. I wish you could incorporate SAS, SQL, or Python directly in the code sections instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Keeps Our Work Organized with Clear Dashboards and Better Team Visibility"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

What I like most about Quickbase is how it helps our team keep work organized in one place instead of managing everything across different tools. We use it to track project progress, monitor task updates, and manage different stages such as not started, in progress, and review.

The dashboards and reports give a clear breakdown of current status, making it easy to identify pending work and follow up quickly. It has made coordination smoother and improved overall visibility across the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

One downside is that the UI can feel a bit basic compared to some modern tools, which can impact the overall user experience. It may take some time for new users to get comfortable navigating different sections.

Also, when working with larger datasets or detailed reports, performance can sometimes slow down. While it works well for regular use, improvements in UI design and performance would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QuickBase: Flexible Low-Code App Building with Strong Integrations and Extensions"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

What I like best about Quickbase is its flexibility and speed in building custom applications without heavy coding. In my workplace, I actively use Quickbase to develop and manage applications for system configuration and pricing workflows. I have created multiple interconnected tables for systems, component libraries, pricing updates, and standardized solutions, which helps us manage complex data relationships efficiently.

The ability to customize forms, reports, and dashboards allows us to track project status, manage client-specific requirements, and improve operational visibility. We also use Pipelines to automate workflows such as data updates and notifications, which reduces manual effort and improves accuracy. Overall, Quickbase helps us streamline operations and quickly adapt to changing business needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

One of the main drawbacks of Quickbase is its limited UI/UX customization, which can make applications feel less modern and restrict flexibility for end-user experience. In our implementation, where we manage multiple related tables and complex workflows, performance can sometimes slow down, especially when working with large datasets or detailed reports.

Additionally, while integrations are possible, advanced use cases often require APIs or additional configuration, which increases development effort. The pricing model can also become expensive as usage scales across teams. These factors can impact scalability and user experience, and improvements in UI flexibility, performance optimization, and native integrations would make the platform even more effective. "Make it how you want it"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase makes it easy to organize and customize things the way I need them. I like that I can adjust fields, headers, and reports without worrying about breaking anything. I recently was able to add a new column to group inventory by location and create a separate category column, and it didn’t mess up the existing setup. It’s straightforward to make changes, and I don’t feel like I’m going to screw something up. The dashboards are also really helpful. They let me see everything I need in one place, and I can tweak them to show exactly what I want. That’s probably one of my favorite features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Before Quickbase, tracking inventory was a hassle. Our monthly counts involved a lot of jumping back and forth between areas, and it wasn’t easy to keep everything organized. Now, I can group inventory by location and category, which saves time and makes it easier for the team to count items without running all over the place. I’ve also been able to update pricing and quantities directly in the system, so everything matches up better. Another big benefit is being able to track work-in-progress jobs separately from hard inventory. This helps us account for materials that haven’t been billed yet but are still part of our inventory. Quickbase has helped us clean up our processes and make things more efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase – A Flexible and Efficient Tool for Workflow Management"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

One of the things I like best about Quickbase is how easy it is to build and customize applications without needing heavy technical knowledge. In my day-to-day work, I use it to manage workflows, track data and generate reports and it has significantly improved our process efficiency.

The platform is very flexible, so we can quickly adapt it based on changing business requirements. I also find the integration capabilities quite helpful - we have integrated it with other systems like Sage Intacct and the data flow has been smooth and reliable.

Another big advantage is the user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for our team to adopt and use regularly without much training. Additionally, their customer support has been very responsive and helpful whenever we needed assistance.

Overall, it has become an essential tool for streamlining our operations and improving visibility across processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

While Quickbase is very flexible, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the interface can feel a bit less intuitive when working on more complex customizations, especially for new users without prior experience.

Additionally, some advanced features and integrations require a learning curve or additional configuration, which can take time to fully understand. Reporting capabilities are strong, but there is still room for improvement in terms of more advanced visualization and customization options.

Lastly, the pricing can feel a bit on the higher side as usage scales, especially for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative Data Management with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

There are several features about QuickBase that I love. 1) The relational aspect: this has allowed my organization's data from different program areas to speak to each other; 2)Automated workflows: are going to make data entry and responding to requests much more efficient for my team; 3) Flexibility: the customizability of QuickBase has been important for our database build. We are a unique organization and the granualrity of customization has made QuickBase very useful; 4) Customer Service: I've had such an excellent experience at every step of my QuickBase journey. From sales to project management to app creation.

Transitioning from Google Sheets to Quickbase has been a significant upgrade for our organization. Now, the previously siloed data from various program areas can communicate, allowing us to get a fuller picture of how clients interact with different program areas. Data is also stored in a much more cohesive manner that does not require as much duplicate entry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Not much to dislike. The Google integration has been a little tricky. We are still trying to figure out how to connect to subfolders in our Google Drive instead of the main toplevel drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Streamlines Safety Tracking with Customizable, Real-Time Reporting"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I like Quickbase because it gives our Safety team a reliable, customizable way to track incidents, audits, training, and compliance tasks all in one place. The platform makes it easy to streamline reporting, automate follow‑ups, and maintain accurate, real‑time records—reducing the risk of missed deadlines or overlooked hazards. Its flexibility lets us adapt forms, workflows, and dashboards as safety regulations or company needs change, which strengthens our ability to respond quickly and keep our teams informed. Overall, Quickbase helps improve consistency, visibility, and accountability across our safety processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

One downside of Quickbase is that its flexibility can also make it time‑consuming to set up and maintain, especially when building complex apps or workflows from scratch. Some features require a deeper learning curve, and without consistent upkeep, forms and reports can become cluttered or outdated. It can also be challenging when certain customizations need more advanced knowledge than everyday users typically have. Overall, while Quickbase is powerful, it can demand more time and technical effort than expected to keep everything running smoothly and aligned with evolving needs. "Efficient, Customizable with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I use Quickbase to manage projects, financial reporting, and our mobile teams, and it's a big part of our operations. Quickbase helps us be more efficient and quicker in our processes, saving us a lot of labor hours while reducing mistakes and giving us cleaner data. It's easy to build and user-friendly, making it successful because people actually want to use it, and that's key. Due to its customization capabilities, we tailor it to our needs. It runs smoothly and quickly, with faster querying and searching compared to most other programs. Additionally, the community Quickbase has fostered is amazing, providing us help directly from other developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

A lot of the things that could help, like performance tools, require the Enterprise plan to use. This feels counterproductive because you want Quickbase to perform well before spending more money on it. Performance tools should be standard with every Quickbase account. They need to focus on improving their current features rather than expanding more. Focus on new grid style reports and fixing bugs so we can implement them. Settle in and make what they have work before implementing new things. And they can get rid of Fast Field; no one wants to pay for it, and it doesn't integrate well enough. Negotiations on cost and renewals are not great, as I feel very frustrated with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
