I use this software because it has very good security settings and it's continuously evolving to the new findings, and does it job very well, not just handling the file transfers but all the logging associated to it.

I like how Progress fully manages it. You do not need to worry about scalability or security, as they handle that aspect. Sometimes the workflow builder is slightly tedious on advanced task building. For instance deleting multiple items at once does not exist. If we could checkbox steps and delete all at once, it would be better. This is more a quality of life tool that is needed. Also better object based workflow building would be great. The intuitive interface makes setup and use straightforward, even across complex environments.

File transfers to various destinations—such as local LAN, FTP, SFTP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS—are seamless. I’m currently running two instances with around 850 tasks and 65 hosts, including connections to 15 Azure and 10 AWS environments, as well as data exchanges with over 20 reinsurance companies and 10 banks and financial institutions across North America.

Customer support is excellent—responsive, knowledgeable, and prompt in resolving issues or answering queries. Overall, MOVEit has been a reliable backbone for our secure file automation needs.

The user interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate, making workflow creation straightforward. One feature I’d love to see in future updates is version control or a draft-and-release workflow. This would help track changes to tasks—especially when using drag-and-drop components—so accidental modifications can be easily rolled back without revalidating the entire workflow. This software is very robust; we use the Automation and Transfer applications to maximize our MFT service to our end users who use it every day. Installation and setup were relatively easy, with an easy integration to our existing SAML infrastructure. Patching has been smooth without hiccups.
