Beyond the core robust security and automation it's known for, I'm particularly impressed by the progress they've made in UX and auditability, specifically, the introduction of a dedicated "Audit User" permission level is a great addition. We can now grant auditors and compliance stakeholders direct access to logs and reports without giving them administrative privileges to sensitive folder data or settings. Honestly, the version upgrades. They can be a bit of a headache. It's not uncommon for users to voice concerns about past security incidents even if they've been addressed. A proactive and transparent approach perhaps with clearer communication about ongoing security enhancements and simplified patching would go a long way in building even better trust. Progress MOVEit stands out for its ease of use and ease of implementation. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to set up automated workflows and transfer files securely. One downside is the learning curve for some advanced features, which can take time to master. Additionally, the pricing might be steep for smaller organizations. After an initial learning curve, MoveIt is very easy to use and very user friendly. MoveIt Automation provides some build in canned scripts and Macros's that have been very helpful and eliminated the need to create custom scripts and Macro's.

In addition, with MoveIt supporting custom PowerShell scripts, we have been able to better automate almost all of our clients from using various SFTP clients to using MoveIt.

I use this software because it has very good security settings and it's continuously evolving to the new findings, and does it job very well, not just handling the file transfers but all the logging associated to it.

It's easy to use (web or sftp client), and the support is very good (good KB site and the the technicians are relentless). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MOVEit File Transfer is very reliable but the performance can be a downside when handling many files and saving them on a remote repository. Also, there are some user managing operations that can only be done 1 user at a time, and this should be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a Moveit Administrator in my organization from 4+ years. This is a revenue cycle management company that requires millions of files transfer on a daily basis.

I am pleased to say that MoveIT automation has significantly reduced the time it takes for a develoment team to develop scripts that can transfer larger number of files to various client/vendor SFTPs.

Also, the integration and implementation is the best piece. With every update, the security and the features are enhanced which keeps us excited.

We are also implementing MoveIT transfer in our environment this year, replacing our current SFTP system. Already, the features Transfer supports is a great add on which we are looking to gain.

There are a few times when getting hold of customer support executive was a little time consuming. Also, I would like to suggest that whenever there are new upgrades, we would like to set up a pre-upgrade call with the support, discussing the pre-requisites and the features in the upgrade version.

I like how Progress fully manages it. You do not need to worry about scalability or security, as they handle that aspect. I also love how easy it is to set up users on this platform and how it is compatible with a lot of the FTP clients out there. Customer Support is great as well.
