Also the knowledge base is super useful and filled with use-cases and how-to's that simplify troubleshooting.

With the many options for doing things in MOVEit Automation, it can be a bit confusing. A traditional task is reasonably straightforward, while advanced tasks offer more power but don't seem to abide by the same logic, sometimes causing unexpected outcomes. What do you like best about Progress MOVEit?

My companies user base loves the Cloud Based MoveIt! IT is always up, never down and is frequently used by our employees. Probably the best thing about it is it's ease of use which makes the adoption rate very high by all users. Uploading, downloading, requesting and sharing are all very easy to perform. What do you dislike about Progress MOVEit?

The limited role options in administrative user creation. Only being able to be an Admin, FileAdmin or user is very limiting. I would like to see a Help Desk role implemented so I dont have to have Admin level users perform basic password resets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Progress MOVEit solving and how is that benefiting you?

MoveIt has solved file sharing with our vendors and/or clients centrally and cloud based. This type of solution has kept our internal teams from creating servers, maintaining backups and poking holes in our firewall for external access. What do you like best about Progress MOVEit?

MOVEit is incredibly easy to use, but don't let the simple UI fool you. It is packed with features that help with organizations' ever-changing file transfer requirements. Installation was super easy, and upgrades were easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress MOVEit?

There's nothing I dislike about MOVEit. But if I had to choose one item I wanted to change, I'd say to support scripting languages other than Visual Basic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there were "nested jobs"; ie: I have one vendor that I need to push 5 different files to a few different locations. Tracking down the individual jobs - in the clutter of jobs created by other users - can get a bit cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
