## About Product Badges
Product Badges is a Shopify app for adding small labels, like SALE, NEW, HOT, or a custom label the merchant writes themselves, on top of product images throughout the store. The goal is to make certain products stand out to shoppers without editing any code or the store's theme files. The app gives full control over how each badge looks, including more than 5 shapes to choose from, such as a rectangle, a pill, a circle, a ribbon, or a diagonal banner across the corner of the image. Badges can be shown based on rules instead of being placed one product at a time, for example automatically showing a SALE badge on anything currently discounted, or a badge based on a specific product tag or collection. Badges can appear on the collection page, the individual product page, the homepage, and search results. The design is mobile responsive, and there is a live preview so the merchant can see exactly how a badge will look before it goes live. Setup takes only a few minutes and works with any Shopify theme. The free plan allows one active badge at a time with basic styling. The Pro plan removes that limit and unlocks the full styling suite for $9 a month, with a discount for paying yearly.
