Not offer high-level segmentation feature. Gives every student individualized content with no extra work for the teacher! Great for review. **What do you dislike about Prodigy?** I dislike that you can't control what math topics they're being tested on- so material you haven't covered yet can come up. It would be better if you could set what content you'd like the students questioned on. **What problems is Prodigy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use prodigy as a reward system. If the students are good, they can earn 10 minutes on prodigy! They love playing and versing each other. They also love collecting the little side kicks. ### 8. For the battles, there is a wide range of 'arms' and pet helpers. As a teacher and as a parent you can set tasks and the level. There is regular testing. The children learn a lot of maths and get a lot of practice. **What do you dislike about Prodigy?** The questions and answer fields could be bigger. **Recommendations to others considering Prodigy:** While the student goes through the firsts tests, you can spend time looking through the tasks you can be assign. There are curricula per country/state. **What problems is Prodigy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Motivation is a lot higher. The children like maths with Prodigy. On top of that, the questions are auto-corrective, so no teacher/parent help is needed. ### 9. Okay tool. This equated to wasted time and was frustrating to try and fix all of the encrypted errors. **Recommendations to others considering Prodigy:** None. I subscribe for my Grandson and he loves it. His school also uses it, It really seems to help him understand his math better, The graphics and ease of understanding the software are amazing. The premium subscription is very affordable and the ability to play online or offline, at school or at home is great! It would be awsome if every school age child could have access to this program. **What do you dislike about Prodigy?** The is nothing so far I have found that I dislike about this software, it has helped so much with math and made it so much more fun to learn for my Grandson. **What problems is Prodigy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I believe the fact that my Grandson can actually learn the math that he struggles with and have fun with it is amazing. As a teacher, I love that I can assign skill sets for my students to work on that connect directly to the standards I am teaching or assign skills for review. Students love creating their avatars and having them battle others as they practice math. They say it is a combination of Harry Potter and Pokemon Go! Although students can connect to people they don't know, they are limited in what they can say in conversation by being forced to choose from canned responses. **What do you dislike about Prodigy?** Students aren't forced to battle at all times. Some students try to waste time by checking out the houses or changing what their characters are wearing. **What problems is Prodigy solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has been a great way to get students motivated to play math games.
