What do you like best about Prisma Access?

It’s super reliable for keeping remote teams secure without needing a bunch of hardware. The cloud-based setup makes it easy to scale as the team grows, and it’s great for managing security across different locations. The threat detection feels solid, which gives some peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

The setup can be kinda tricky at first, especially if you're not super familiar with it. Also, the interface could be more user-friendly; it’s not the easiest to navigate. Pricing might be a bit high for smaller teams too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Security and Seamless Integration with Prisma Access"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access offers robust security features, including WildFire, user integration, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) functionality, all delivered through the cloud. Its Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) 2.0 and endpoint management capabilities provide top-notch security, integrating seamlessly with tools like Slack and PagerDuty for real-time alerts. The platform supports secure application traffic and non-web applications, offering extensive API integrations for enhanced flexibility and security. Additionally, Prisma Access is stable and scalable, auto-scaling for mobile users and integrating well with Cortex XDR and Cortex Data Lake. It efficiently identifies misconfigurations and security vulnerabilities, allowing for end-to-end management and control development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access requires improved support for custom applications and better compatibility with other solutions, especially in healthcare environments. The frequent updates in Prisma Access should provide more information to ensure they do not impact production environments adversely. Integration with non-Palo Alto Networks products could be enhanced to ensure seamless functionality across multi-vendor infrastructures. Price adjustments are needed to make Prisma Access more competitive, as its current cost is considered high by users. Prisma Access should improve its multi-environment visibility, particularly concerning containers, to reduce the volume of redundant alerts based on container images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access enforces least-privilege access principles, ensuring users only access necessary resources. This significantly reduces exposure to cyber threats and lateral movement within networks.

Consolidating multiple security functions (SWG, CASB, FWaaS, etc.) into a single platform reduces the complexity of managing different security solutions while lowering operational costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Take on Palo Alto Prisma"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

My favorite feature of Prisma Access is its ability to afford consistent, startup-grade security to roaming and branch offices while not having to reinvent an on-premises infrastructure. As a Zero Trust solution, it makes sure that the users get access to only the resources that they are allowed to access and scaling is easy. This single management solution also contains many features convenient for efficient operation, avoiding the complication of the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

The first disadvantage of Prisma Access is complexity for teams unfamiliar with solutions from Palo Alto or SASE solutions. In fact, pricing can be steep, which limits the feasibility of using the approach by small organizations. Users have also complained of sometime difficulties in configuring as well as solving complex problems related to the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access solves the problem of the protection of dispersed and hybrid workforces and offers secure access for all employees and branches the same way the enterprise expects from fully protected premises. This is an effective Zero Trust model of operation coupled with high-end threat prevention that makes the administration of decentralized teams manageable by providing users with efficient access to the resources they require, wherever they may be. It thereby improves efficiency by providing a well-protected interface for users and the simplification of the dispersion across multiple security products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

It’s a sleek and powerful tool for visual collaboration—perfect for big presentations, executive meetings, and team whiteboarding across locations. That said, from an IT support perspective, it’s not essential unless your company really depends on live collaboration between offices and has the budget for the specialized hardware it requires. What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

The main problem that I currently see for Prima access is the dependency of local resources, which might cause a conflict on companies with low cost set ups Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prisma Access"

3/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

I like unified access and vendor integration with our existing Palo Alto products. The product has a robust and feature rich hence leading the market and setting an industry standard compared to other options like Fortinet. It's features encompass most use cases and scenarios. What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

I wished the UI was more simple or there was better tutorials to navigate the product/ service. This is what I have had trouble with regarding Palo Alto products it's very robust but the UI is hard to navigate and there is this lag on clicking and loading or commiting stuff I just hope they had more smooth animations to make it feel faster. "Prisma Access provides excellent security and scalability, though setup complexity."

5/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access is excellent for secure, scalable, and flexible remote access, making it ideal for modern work environments. Its cloud-delivered architecture provides robust security with minimal latency, ensuring that remote users can connect seamlessly and securely to corporate resources from anywhere. I particularly appreciate the centralized management, which simplifies security policy enforcement and monitoring across distributed environments. Prisma Access also reduces complexity by consolidating VPN, firewall, and threat prevention features into one platform, which streamlines the user experience and helps maintain consistent security standards. Its automatic scalability is another big upside, as it adapts to traffic demands without requiring hardware changes or additional configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

While Prisma Access offers strong security features, there are some aspects that can be challenging. The initial setup and configuration can be complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations that lack in-house network security expertise. Additionally, troubleshooting and resolving issues sometimes require navigating a steep learning curve, which can be frustrating. There are occasional connectivity hiccups, and performance may vary depending on the location of the user relative to Prisma’s data centers. Licensing costs can also add up quickly, making it less budget-friendly for smaller businesses. Lastly, the limited customization options for certain security policies may feel restrictive for those with specific, tailored security needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access solves the challenge of providing secure, reliable remote access for distributed teams, which is essential in today’s hybrid work environments. By consolidating VPN, firewall, and threat prevention into a single, cloud-delivered platform, it simplifies network security management, reduces the need for multiple tools, and minimizes operational overhead. This integrated approach also helps ensure consistent security policies across all users and devices, reducing the risk of security gaps. For me, Prisma Access has improved efficiency, enhanced security, and provided peace of mind by allowing secure access to resources from anywhere with minimal management complexity.
