## About PressFriendly
PressFriendly is a public relations agency for seed and Series A startups, founded in 2013 and based in San Francisco. It runs earned-media programs: targeted outreach to reporters across technology, business, consumer, health, and trade media, mapped to a defined business goal such as fundraising, recruiting, or customer trust. The agency runs on its own software. PressFriendly began as PitchFriendly, a self-serve outreach platform, and still uses it to run every campaign. Some PR firms license the same software to run their own programs. In a recent year, PressFriendly sent 7,000+ targeted pitches and reached 2,500+ distinct reporters, with 35,000+ pitches sent through the platform (PressFriendly activity records). Published pricing. Retainers are month-to-month with no long-term contract: $5,000/month for a Seed/Series A media-relations program, $9,500/month for full-service Series B, which adds analyst relations, a thought-leadership program, a messaging workshop, and social. Custom consulting is quoted per project. Visible work. Every engagement follows four steps: plan, pitch, place, and build. Each includes a standing call and regular activity reports that show the reporters contacted, the responses, and the coverage earned. Track record. Since 2013, PressFriendly reports 800+ clients across 32 countries and 16,000+ media hits (PressFriendly client records). Clients have landed coverage in The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, TechCrunch, The New York Times, Forbes, and Bloomberg, and include companies that later went public (GitLab, TaskUs) or were acquired (PlanGrid by Autodesk, DocSend by Dropbox, Nexmo by Vonage).
