PREFcards Reviews & Product Details

PREFcards is a cloud-based surgical workflow platform designed for ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, and operating room teams that want to modernize how they manage surgeon preference cards, surgical case information, supply usage, and OR documentation. At its core, PREFcards helps healthcare facilities digitize and standardize surgeon preference cards so teams can easily access accurate, up-to-date case setup instructions from any approved device. Instead of relying on outdated paper cards, spreadsheets, binders, or disconnected files, surgical teams can manage preference card updates in one centralized system. PREFcards can be used as a standalone solution or integrated with EHR, surgical scheduling, and inventory systems. Facilities can use PREFcards to schedule surgical cases, manage surgeon-specific preferences, track supplies used during procedures, document intraoperative details, review case costs, and generate business intelligence reports. The platform is especially helpful for surgery centers that want better visibility into supplies, trays, implants, equipment, surgeon variation, and case-level costs. PREFcards helps reduce waste by making it easier to identify unused supplies, outdated cards, duplicate cards, high-cost procedures, and opportunities for standardization. Key features include digital surgeon preference cards, surgical case scheduling, supply usage tracking, intraoperative documentation, inventory and EHR integration, user permission controls, reporting dashboards, card history, case cost reporting, predictive ordering support, and AI-assisted preference card recommendations. PREFcards is built to support nurses, surgical schedulers, materials managers, OR leaders, administrators, and surgeons by improving communication before, during, and after surgical cases. By keeping case information organized and accessible, PREFcards helps facilities reduce variation, improve documentation, support better supply planning, and make more informed operational decisions.
