## About PreConstruct AI
PreConstruct AI is takeoff and estimating software for subcontractors bidding commercial work — drywall and interiors, concrete, and wood framing. Upload the drawing set. It reads the text on every sheet — schedules, notes, room finishes, wall types — and puts what it found in a review queue. Each item links to the exact spot on the sheet it came from, and anything doubtful is flagged rather than guessed. You draw the walls, or check and confirm the ones it suggests (a beta on every paid plan), pick a wall type once and apply it to as many walls as you need. Every material comes out with its arithmetic printed beside it, so you can see how a number was reached before you stand behind it. Price from your own supplier quotes and labour rates, set waste, burden and markup, then generate a proposal your client opens in a browser and accepts by typing their name. Accepted proposals can be sent to QuickBooks Online as estimates (beta). Quantities in imperial, metric or both. The first bid is free, with no card. It would rather miss than be confidently wrong.
