PlugThis.ai Reviews & Product Details

PlugThis is a purpose-built AI builder designed specifically for Chrome extensions. While tools like Lovable and Bolt are great for web apps, they struggle with Chrome's unique architecture like manifest files, content scripts, and background workers. PlugThis handles all of that automatically. You describe what you want in plain English, and in under two minutes you get a working extension with front-end, backend, and AI built in. Three modes let you work how you want: Build generates code instantly, Plan breaks complex extensions into steps, and Ask lets you refine ideas before building. The marketplace lets users share extensions they've built and anyone can clone, modify, and use them as starting points. Workspaces let teams collaborate on the same extension together. You can also plug in your OpenAI or Gemini API key and the extensions you build can summarise, write, translate, or process content using real AI models. You download the code, install it, it's yours forever. PlugThis is used by indie hackers, agencies, and freelancers to ship Chrome extensions without hiring developers or spending weeks learning Chrome APIs. Build your first Chrome extension free. No credit card, no commitment. Get 1 extension and 10 generations to see PlugThis in action before you upgrade.
