Plott Reviews & Product Details

Plott is a comprehensive project management platform tailored for design studios, streamlining the entire project lifecycle from initial renderings to final invoicing. By integrating design sharing, client feedback, approvals, and financial management into a unified system, Plott enhances collaboration and operational efficiency. One of Plott's standout features is its seamless integration with Google Drive. Design studios can link their existing Drive folders to Plott, transforming them into organized, client-accessible project pages without the need for file duplication or migration. This ensures that clients always have access to the most current designs, with previous versions archived for reference. Clients can provide precise feedback by pinning notes directly onto specific areas of designs or drawings, facilitating clear communication and reducing misunderstandings. These notes can be converted into tasks for the design team, ensuring that client requests are systematically addressed. Version control is another critical aspect of Plott. The platform automatically stacks design revisions, allowing clients to compare versions side by side and approve specific iterations. This process maintains a clear record of approvals, including who approved what and when, which is invaluable for project tracking and accountability. For internal studio management, Plott offers a centralized task board that consolidates all tasks across projects. Each task can be assigned to team members with specified due dates, and reminders can be set for important activities such as site visits or payment follow-ups. This centralized approach ensures that all team members are aligned and aware of their responsibilities. Financial management is also streamlined within Plott. The platform enables the creation of GST-compliant quotes and invoices, with payment schedules that can be invoiced in stages. Payments can be recorded as they are received, providing a clear overview of each project's financial status. Notably, Plott does not handle or hold client payments, ensuring that studios maintain direct control over their financial transactions. Client interactions are simplified through Plott's private project links. Clients can access their project pages without the need for additional accounts or installations, making it convenient for them to view designs, provide feedback, approve versions, and sign documents online. This ease of access enhances client satisfaction and engagement throughout the project. In summary, Plott offers a robust solution for design studios seeking to manage their projects more effectively. By consolidating design sharing, client feedback, task management, and financial processes into a single platform, Plott reduces administrative overhead and fosters a more collaborative and transparent working environment.
