## About Pix4Dcatch
Pix4Dcatch is the app that turns your mobile device into a professional 3D scanner. Available on both iOS and Android devices, it is best suited for most recent devices equipped with LiDAR sensors, such as the iPhone 12 Pro, or iPad Pro. The app provides prompts and guidance for data collection, including warnings if the user is moving too fast or the image capture is too unstable. **What do you like best about Pix4Dcatch?**

Its a great easy to use app that delivers great results with minimal work. Scanning a site takes only minutes and you can see your coverage of an area in real time.

**What do you dislike about Pix4Dcatch?**

Post-processing requires a subscription to Pix4d services. Its expected but expensive. And there is no way I saw to download the raw images in order to do the post-processing in a different modeling program.

**What problems is Pix4Dcatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping our company monitor sites as they progress. It allows us to create shareable models for clients so they can see the progress. It allowed us to provide more up to date reports.

**What do you like best about Pix4Dcatch?**

Of the photogrammetry programs, it is the best I have used for mobile devices, whether iOS or Android, the iOS one works better. Over time, they have improved a lot. Especially when it comes to adding new features like free flight.

**What do you dislike about Pix4Dcatch?**

The overall price, although this is free, for the final processing depends on the desktop version. But it can be used to take the images and see a preview and then process it with other software.

**Recommendations to others considering Pix4Dcatch:**

There are other more economical alternatives overall. But to plan, execute, and preview the work, I think it is the most complete.

**What problems is Pix4Dcatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The planning and execution of automatic flights, especially for photogrammetry work, is very easy to create the waypoints.
