We did not even have a training session and we all basically understood how it works. Everything from applying the leave, to approval and calculation of the leaves left is available on the slack app. You can also see how many people are on leave in your team or even your entire company. We can even check who all are on leave within the team and across (as per our commands to the Pause bot) is really helpful in figuring out meeting schedules. Absolutely love how it sends a decline note to all my meetings whenever I'm on leave. Best part - shows my leave balance every time I apply for a leave + I get notifications/reminders about the birthdays of my colleagues. **What do you dislike about Pause?** I would like Pause even more if it would allow us to customise our leave status updates when connected to slack. Right now it only allows a palm-tree emoji. **Recommendations to others considering Pause:** Everyone looking for a quick and hassle-free way to apply and approve leaves should definitely go for it. Pause manages your time off and much more. **Recommendations to others considering Pause:** Pause is an excellent and effective absence management software. This accepts or rejects the absence requests of your employees. It allows you to review the available vacation days of your workers or view the status of your entire team with the team calendar, among many more functionalities that are only within the reach of a clip **What problems is Pause solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to manage the different types of absences and absences, such as absences from work, for example. Don't have to use another app, or open another page -- everything happens within Slack which our team already uses, so the effort and learning curve is basically non-existent. Has been really easy to get started, configure and best of all convince our team to start using it. **What do you dislike about Pause?** We're a consultancy -- which means sometimes people have to take a break from one project to work on another. This is not a use case that is currently covered by Pause and I completely understand why -- but I really hope that they add it in the future. **What problems is Pause solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking leaves -- we have a pretty liberal leave policy but we still want to have a simple way to track leaves. I like the way the Pause bot sounds, they are pretty chill and laid back. Pause makes it super simple to apply for time off, see how much time off I have taken and how many days I have left, and also to know when my colleagues are OOO. 10/10 would recommend, it's an easy integration into your Slack workspace. **What do you dislike about Pause?** There have been no downsides to using Pause. **What problems is Pause solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simplifying the time off process lets me plan efficiently and removes unnecessary back and forth with my colleagues and manager about leave. It makes me less anxious to take or apply for leave, and also means that I don't feel obliged to over-explain why I want to take time off.
