What do you like best about Pause?

One upside of pause is that it's easy to use! As someone who isn't as technologically fluent as others, pause has been an easy interface to deal with and has made my user experience wonderful. People management has been incredible as it allows me to use its various brilliant features such as daily calendar updates to slack, team calendars and much more. This not only keeps our internal team informed but also communicate the same with our clients and shareholders with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pause?

There isn't much to dislike about the product. I do feel it is a brilliant yet simple solution for a day to day business problem. However, having said that I would suggest that a few features be improved upon or added on. For example, a feature that enables daily updates on when team members are on vacation. Maybe a sort of notification service that allows teams to be well aware (say 1-2 days earlier) about a team member's vacation. Also, an update when someone takes a half-day off. What problems is Pause solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest issues Pause has helped us solve is employee burnout. We are a small organisation of 10-15 people and employee vacation days were not being availed by many within the organisation, which led to a lot of burnouts. With the help of Pause, we were able to effectively track and encourage not just deductible and paid leaves but also non-deductibles leaves such as burnout leaves and mental health leaves. It also solved the ease of applying for a leave. No more excessive forms or applications to fill or complicated leave procedures to follow. Helped by automating all aspects of our leave policy. If I understood your feedback about the 1-2 day advance notification service correctly, the "weekly summary" notification on Slack might be what you're looking for. Also, you now get an immediate notification when someone takes half a day off on the same day, even if the morning notifications have gone out already.

What do you like best about Pause?

We may easily apply for a leave in Pause.

It is simple to keep track of an employee's vacation time.

We could observe leaves divided into three categories: casual leaves, earned leaves, and sick leaves.

We may control the teams and approve or deny an employee's leave.

It features a slack integration, so we could simply apply for leave while on the go through slack.

What do you dislike about Pause?

It should be integrated with Whatsapp to make applying for a leave easier.

It should also be less expensive for small businesses, such as startups.

What do you like best about Pause?

Smooth integration with Slack bot. Every morning at least, I know that who is there and who is not there. Minimal UI and UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pause?

On slack, there should be a more motivating message as a notification. One notification we got was 'There is no holiday in this week' or something like that, which is informative, but I don't know if it's motivating or demotivating. What do you like best about Pause?

Pause is good. I think we will have a hard time in case we do not have it. We mostly just use the Slack integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Doesn't integrate with Payroll. I think they have a workaround for it, but for a company like ours, we definitely need payroll integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

mobile version on my iphone-XR has broken UI(/). can share screenshots if needed. also found the dashboard is not optimized for mobile view. I'm thinking that is a choice. could be a simplistic version like slack plugin [apply/check status]. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pause?

Pause is a very simple to operate (which is a bonus for us) and integrated with Slack, Google etc which is everything we need. Given we operate across multiple jurisdictions etc., we needed something that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pause?

There's a few features that I would love and I think if was built out would make this amazing but the team are great and responsive at getting back to us with workarounds if their pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pause solving and how is that benefiting you?

We just wanted to get off manual spreadsheets with tracking leave from each team-member which was taking a lot of admin time of our team managers - this is great and the dashboard view where you can see who is on leave when (as long as they request off Pause) is really helpful! For instance, this helps with seeing at a 'birds eye view' who is away and then how you can manage public holidays across different jurisdictions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pause?

It's so easy to use! Just 2-3 clicks and your leave application is sent, and every morning you get to know who is on leave, so you don't need to bother them at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pause?

The user experience is smooth, the layout is beautifully colour-coded, and the process of applying for leaves, and checking leave balances is seamless to say the least. Great platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
