Patrowl combines automatic external asset discovery (IP ranges and FQDNs), external attack surface management (EASM) and continuous threat exposure monitoring (CTEM) in a single, easy-to-use platform. But the real strength of the solution is the offensive scanning option (PTaaS). All in all, it provides a comprehensive platform to keep track of threats and vulnerabiliies which are relevant to our infrastructure. IMHO the Patrowl platform provides a lot more useful insights than my traditional web application vulnerability scanners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Patrowl is a fairly small start-up company. While this has benefits (in terms of commercial relationship, direct access to the founders, fast responsiveness to requests, etc.), it also means that the solution is still in its infancy and some teething issues may remain. Having said that, overall the platform has already outperformed most, if not all, of the security scanners I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
