How much does Outrank cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Outrank pricing in 2026 starts at $99.00. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Outrank's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Outrank pricing best suited for?

Outrank's pricing is best suited for small business owners, solo founders, and lean marketing teams who need hands-off SEO automation without hiring writers or link-building agencies. G2 reviewers span industries including Computer Software, Marketing and Advertising, Retail, Hospitality, and Consumer Services — nearly all from the small business segment. G2 reviews of Outrank consistently highlight its value for one-person operations and small startups that lack time for manual content production or backlink outreach. Mid-market teams appear occasionally in G2 data and find value in content scheduling and DR growth, though the single-tier pricing of Outrank scales less flexibly for multi-domain or enterprise use cases.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Outrank?

Outrank does not offer a permanent free tier. According to G2's pricing data for Outrank, a free trial is available for evaluation before committing to the single paid plan at $99/month. The trial gives prospective users a time-limited look at Outrank's core capabilities — automated article generation, backlink exchange, keyword research, and CMS integrations — before unlocking the full plan. G2 reviewers note that even within Outrank's paid plan, certain features such as advanced image models and additional backlink credits require further upgrades, meaning the $99/month entry point is not fully all-inclusive despite its positioning.

Is Outrank considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers are largely positive about Outrank's value, with the platform averaging 4.7 stars across dozens of small business reviews. Multiple G2 users highlight that Outrank's $99/month pricing replaces several standalone tools — keyword research, content writing, backlink outreach — making it cost-competitive versus agency fees, with one consultant noting it costs roughly a quarter of what they previously paid an agency. However, recurring cons mention that the base plan feels credit-constrained for backlinks, some features require paid upgrades beyond the $99 tier, and a few reviewers in Computer Software and Retail flag the price as steep for early-stage startups or solo founders with limited budgets.

What do you like best about Outrank?

Outrank made generating and publishing articles convenient, and the early growth was encouraging enough that I originally rated it 9/10. However, our website later suffered a collapse in Google search visibility that we believe was related to Google’s spam systems. After seven months of recovery efforts—including disavowing exchange backlinks, removing outgoing links, and deleting or improving articles—we still have not recovered. Almost all remaining visibility comes from branded searches. I can no longer recommend the service, and I regret my earlier endorsement of the backlink exchange program. What do you dislike about Outrank?

The risks associated with the backlink exchange program and automated content need to be explained much more clearly before purchase.

My website initially gained Google search visibility while using Outrank, but that visibility later collapsed. After months of recovery work, the articles still have effectively no visibility. Almost all remaining search visibility comes from people searching for the brand itself.

I cannot establish whether the link exchange, the generated content, or a combination contributed to the collapse. I spent seven months trying to recover: disavowing backlinks from the exchange, removing outgoing links to participants, deleting some articles, and improving others. Those efforts have not restored visibility.

I specifically want to withdraw my earlier endorsement of the backlink exchange. The initial results gave me confidence that, in hindsight, was premature.

As a fellow indie founder, I don’t write this lightly. But the cost has gone well beyond the subscription price - it includes months of cleanup and lost search visibility. Had I understood the risks, I would never have purchased Outrank. Other small businesses deserve to understand those risks before connecting it to a domain they depend on.
