## About OttoFlow™
OttoFlow™ is AI-native IP management software for docketing, patent prosecution, and portfolio management, built for law firms and corporate IP departments by the patent attorneys behind Black Hills AI and Foundation IP. Its event-driven engine matches incoming PTO correspondence, examiner actions, agent reports, and email to the right matter, runs each document through a versioned library of 1,853 docketing procedures across 205 jurisdictions, and turns it into docket obligations that carry their own provenance: source document, rule, formula, base date, and verifier. Rules and AI check every entry, and people confirm by exception, so no one re-keys a date. Around that engine is a complete IP management system: matter management for fifteen matter types, IDS and citation management with SB/08 generation, documents and inbound email, versioned workflows and alerts, scheduled client reporting, a client portal, and a Foreign Filing Hub connected to 300+ foreign agents through Honu™. Everything in the interface is also available through a Swagger-documented Agent API, CloudEvents webhooks, and a built-in MCP controller that lets Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot work directly with the docket. Security is enforced with mechanisms, not policies: database-level tenant isolation, MFA and SSO, an append-only audit stream, and AWS hosting with region pinning.
