OrgMapper is an online organizational diagnostic tool that analyzes and visualizes the human networks your employees use to collaborate, communicate and exchange information over in order to do their daily work. Maintaining hairarchy patterns is the fun

**What do you dislike about OrgMapper?**

Visually rows are very tightly placed and it causes a fear while drag and drop

Using it for survey especially for a large organization

**What do you like best about OrgMapper?**

The whole user experience of OrgMapper is well designed and supports easy use. From the questionnaire design, till the output creation it helps me to work intuitively. I especially like the output design module - where I can fine-tune my data visualization: the high level of control over my data helps me to highlight the most important figures and patterns, and thus to create insightful materials for my clients. 

**What do you dislike about OrgMapper?**

Hard to say. The automatic report generation process would still need some improvements. I'd especially be happy if the initial automatic reports would include a bit more statistics about the qualities of the networks.

**Recommendations to others considering OrgMapper:**

One of the reasons why we choose OrgMapper is the strong scientific background of the team. Their credibility was a good point for me, and is a favourable point for my clients as well. 
The OrgMapper team offers a great level of support, that includes a detailed training with strong case-study based examples and options for trials. Besides the tech support and products understanding their support in interpreting the data - providing professional help in my own area - was really helpful in our initial projects. I think that they offer a good mix of product quality and support. I'd highly recommend using them. 

**What problems is OrgMapper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizational diagnostics, mostly focusing on raising levels of cooperation and effectiveness of communication. Most important benefits are the insight-provoking outputs that enable my clients to gain a quick overview of complex organizational patterns, a user and client-friendly design that makes data collection easy.

**What do you like best about OrgMapper?**

Orgmapper provides critical and compelling empirical and visual evidence of the existing networks.
There are a variety of modules to choose from depending on client requirements and these are straightforward to explain to the client.
The Maven7 team are outstanding - we have a great relationship and the technical analysis and support is friendly and professional.

**What do you dislike about OrgMapper?**

I have no complaints. The software and support has been great in the context in which we have been working and has certainly been sufficient for where our clients are at in terms of maturity / acceptance of the approach.
The user interface would need to be a little more streamlined if we were to increase volumes/and turnaround, but my understanding is that there are developments in progress currently.

**Recommendations to others considering OrgMapper:**

If you are in the organisational development or change space, definitely check out the Network Approach. Client knowledge and willingness to use the approach is important and also the first implementations should be tightly scoped /focussed.

**What problems is OrgMapper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The identification / visualisation of networks and key relationships has assisted greatly with Change programmes and incremental change through:
- Improved communications
- Capability building
- Trust building / culture development
- Succession strategy/planning
- Innovation
Although it is very difficult to put a ROI on the above from the clients perspective, we know that the aggregate impact is that the clients are benefiting and our business is growing.

**What do you like best about OrgMapper?**

I like that the quesions are relevant to the issues that I am pursuing with clients and, if needed, are customizable. I like that the questions being asked are to my mind the appropriate ones from a conceptual standpoint to be asking. I like that the questions are packaged in specific modules like Knowledge Mapper and Team Mapper. This makes marketing and decision making easier regarding the client. I like that, if desired, I could administer the OrgMapper survey and have mapped results for consideration by the client in an afternoon. I like that I can filter and manipulate the maps to arrive at different perspectives. I like that the interface is relatively user friendly.

**What do you dislike about OrgMapper?**

I have had some difficulties in having the survey mailed out to people and have them able to access the survey via their password. I gather this is caused by systemic email issues as well as by OrgMapper software programming. I gather that this is being remedied. It would be of added benefit if I could customize the survey myself at least to the extent of adding questions from other modules to the one that I am using. I am looking forward to future OrgMapper products that provide a comprehensive look at the client in addition to the more specific modularized approaches.

**Recommendations to others considering OrgMapper:**

There is a great deal of reliance on formal reports to help clients utilize OrgMapper. In addition, OrgMapper is sufficiently user-friendly that reliance on the maps themselves and open discussion can lead to many insights. This may make OrgMapper more feasible to use on an ongoing basis and to build into the life of the organization. Whichever approach is being used, planning for establishing a baseline and then follow-up's every six months or year can be very helpful. It will help the organization to be accountable for taking action to improve. It can also be beneficial to engage in an ongoing conversation as to what is the ongoing challenge(s) facing the organization. OrgMapper can be helpful in initially diagnosing these challenges and in more fully understanding them. 

**What problems is OrgMapper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thus far, I am using OrgMapper in workshops with client systems and the general public introducing them to the challenge of being effective in networks and providing tools to understand and take action in networks.

**What do you like best about OrgMapper?**

The visualizations that are created through OrgMapper are very helpful in communicating to the teams and organization the networks of relationships.  It is an excellent diagnostic tool that provides real data for what often is collected only through informal or anecdotal slources.

**What do you dislike about OrgMapper?**

The user interface takes some getting used to at first, but once you figure it out, it worked great.

**What problems is OrgMapper solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were working with intact teams to identify relational strengths and weaknesses inherent to each team.  This tool allowed us to created visualizations that we could use with each team to show both relational strengths and opportunities.  The tools provided reinforcing data that validated much of the anecdotal evidence we had gathered previously.  This made the next steps of the consultancy much more readily accepted.
