I love all the ways I can customize it to make it as printer-friendly as possible. Embedding options are great. Very aggressive pricing. And the free option is great too. Support personnel is on point. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** There are some quirks. For example, one employee's photo just flat out refuses to download. Once trial expires, certain limits in place actually make it a bit harder to buy the full version. I wish they had SAML implementation. **Recommendations to others considering Organimi:** There are really no drawbacks. At all. Free version covers you if you have less than 50 employees, but there are some sync limitations. But in general, it's pleasant to work with. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking to put org chart somewhere accessible to our employees. Another program I used made it so hard to do this basic function. Also, in general, having the company directory handy and available in a dropdown saves an enormous amount of time. Once you get the hang of creating a chart it's really straightforward. Helpful tutorials and guides at the beginning are also provided, I would recommend watching those. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** It took me a moment to get the hang of creating the chart style I wanted, but that could've been avoided had I gone through their initial instructional guide :) **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a visual display of our company and which department people fall in. Under fields, you can check or uncheck whichever information you want or don't want displayed directly on your chart. For example, you can choose to show an employee's phone number on the role card but hide the job description. You can do this with any preset or added custom field. Still want to capture the role description but don't want it visible on the chart? No worries! We were previously using Google Drawings, which required us to completely re-do our org-chart after each new hire. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** We haven't yet discovered anything we dislike about the platform. The one thing that would make the platform a bit easier to use is the ability to drag and drop people in a hierarchy. For instance, if I add three employees under another employee, it would be nice to be able to arrange the three employees in any order I chose. Organimi includes the ability to pull in from Azure AD (and includes other options as a source as well) and this import of data works extremely well. I hunted for ages to find an add-on for org chart creation but didn't want a whole "HR Management" system. Everyone else seems to want to sell a huge (and expensive) system that overlaps what I already have available to me in Microsoft. I just needed to pull the data I already had in AAD and view it in an Org chart. It's shocking that Microsoft doesn't offer this as a built-in function to MS365. Their solution of "just use Visio" is pathetic, as anyone who's tried to create such a solution will know. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** The problem is in the details. First, currently my charts that are synced with AAD look great upon the first import, but any automatic update (which is really the whole point!) causes relationships to break and the chart to render wrong. Second, If you want to tweak any setting of an existing import, you have to reconfigure every setting like new. Forget to set it up just as you did before? Start over from scratch. Third, there is a button that sure looks like it is supposed to "zoom out to show full extent", but when I click it it just zooms to some preset level that does not encompass my whole chart. These feel like bugs, and I have reported them as such, but they're pretty inhibiting from really digging in and using the tool. I am keeping my subscription active for now, as even with these issues, the tool does a great job of showing the chart (I just have to create a one-off, non synchronized copy every time data changes). I am standing by for them to fix the issues that are preventing the auto updates to work. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** The solution is a beautiful org chart based on Azure Active Directory data. Once the connection is established, pulling the data over is simple. Make sure all information and reporting structures are correct. Think through how you will maintain the org chart - manually, integration, etc. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** During our merger we needed a combined org chart that not only visualized our company, but showed information like Slack handles (we are on two separate Slack instances), location/time zone (we are a global company). This has allowed us to focus on the data instead of worrying about manually arranging the boxes. **What do you dislike about Organimi?** Some features did not carry over automtically from the previous version to version 7.0. Also, there is a general lack of printing customization options but has recently been addressed and updates are continuing to roll out. **What problems is Organimi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Benign able to automate the data with a daily data refresh via sFTP (.csv file posting) has been great. This has allowe us to focus on the data instead of worrying about manually arranging the boxes.
