On top this is being used in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as well. **What do you dislike about Oracle ZFS?** This appliance being from Oracle is not widely used in outside market for general purpose use. Dominantly bring used in Oracle solutions only. **What problems is Oracle ZFS solving and how is that benefiting you?** All NAS solution features are available here like having projects and shares. So we can obtain full speed (Infiniband band speed) to do backup and recovery that out-perform of other existing software products. Also it can serve as NFS to support DB like RAC. Compared to Exadata ASM, ZFS is an alternative storage option to store 2nd tier data. **What do you dislike about Oracle ZFS?** The capacity and maintenance is a bit hard to manage and rely on Oracle to perform detail analysis. The UI interface was not really user friendly to user. Not easy to identify the usage nor performance. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle ZFS:** The expansion of the ZFS is complicated so recommend to do capacity to avoid in middle change configuration. **What problems is Oracle ZFS solving and how is that benefiting you?** If any hardware failure, such as harddisk and doing resilivering, the performance of ZFS will be degraded. After replacement, it also takes time to perform resilivering.
