CloudConnexa is a cloud-delivered zero trust network access (ZTNA) and secure access service edge (SASE) platform that provides organizations with secure, policy-based access to private networks, applications, and resources. As a single-vendor SASE solution built with small and midsize businesses (SMBs) in mind, CloudConnexa combines ZTNA, secure web gateway capabilities, and built-in threat protection into one cloud-delivered service, without the cost or complexity of stitching together point products from multiple ZTNA vendors or ZTNA providers. For organizations evaluating zero trust network access solutions, CloudConnexa stands out among ZTNA solutions by pairing continuous, identity-based zero trust access with a fully managed Wide-area Private Cloud (WPC) spanning 30+ global points of presence, delivering zero trust remote access and zero trust application access to private apps and networks without ever exposing them to the public internet. Granular zero trust access control lets administrators define exactly which users and groups can reach specific hosts, networks, and applications, while built-in IDS/IPS (Cyber Shield), content filtering, and device posture checks extend zero trust network security and zero trust cloud security across every connection, reducing attack surface and blocking common cyber threats before they reach your environment. CloudConnexa also functions as a network access control solution, enforcing device posture, location context, and passwordless authentication policies before any connection is established, with SSO, SCIM provisioning, and multi-factor authentication further hardening identity verification. Because CloudConnexa is delivered entirely as a service, it removes the up-front hardware investment associated with many legacy SASE vendors, giving SMBs predictable SASE pricing and an all-in-one alternative to piecing together separate ZTNA and networking tools. For growing businesses that need enterprise-grade zero trust security without enterprise-level overhead, CloudConnexa delivers ZTNA and SASE in a single, easy-to-manage platform.

"Secure, Stable VPN Access That Makes Remote Work Effortless"

5/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

What I like most is that it gives me secure access to my company’s internal resources no matter where I’m working. Since I work remotely fairly often, I can connect to the office network in just a few clicks and keep going without having to worry about the connection.

In my experience, the connection has been stable, which really matters when I’m running automation tests, accessing internal applications, or using development and testing environments that are only available through the company network. Once I’m connected, I can work as if I were in the office, and I rarely need to reconnect or spend time troubleshooting VPN issues.

The interface is simple and doesn’t require much setup from an end-user perspective. Connecting and disconnecting is straightforward, and it runs quietly in the background without getting in the way of my work.

Overall, it has made remote work much smoother by providing secure, reliable access to the systems I need every day. It’s one of those tools I barely think about because it simply does its job well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

I don’t have any major complaints, but there are a couple of small areas that could be improved. Every so often, after switching networks or waking my laptop from sleep, I have to reconnect before I can access internal applications again. It doesn’t happen frequently, but when it does, it can break my workflow for a minute or two.

I’ve also noticed that access can sometimes feel a bit slower when I’m working with large files or reaching internal resources over the VPN compared with being on the office network. That’s understandable to a point, but it’s something I run into from time to time.

Aside from those minor issues, it’s been dependable. Once I’m connected, it stays stable and lets me work securely without having to think much about the VPN itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of securely accessing company resources while working remotely. Without a VPN, I wouldn’t be able to connect to internal applications, testing environments, repositories, and other resources that are only available within the company’s network.

In my day-to-day work, this means I can run automation tests, access internal web applications, connect to databases when needed, and use development and QA environments from home just as I would from the office. That flexibility has been especially valuable whenever I’m working remotely or outside the corporate network.

Another advantage is that I don’t have to set up separate connections for different systems. Once I’m connected, I can reach the resources I need and keep working without interruptions. Overall, it has made remote work more secure and reliable, and it’s also much more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and stable network"

5/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa is very convenient for remote employee VPN access. The client is easy to install and configure, so users can get connected quickly with minimal support. Since it's a managed service, IT administrators don't have to worry about maintaining VPN servers, which saves time and reduces operational effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa client upgrades occasionally break the existing installation. When this happens, the client often needs to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled to restore normal operation. This can be disruptive for end users and increase the IT support effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa provides secure remote access for employees, allowing us to safely connect to internal corporate resources from anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Access with Superior Security"

5/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

I like the simplicity and reliability of OpenVPN CloudConnexa. The platform makes it easy to securely connect remote users, office locations, and cloud resources without dealing with complex VPN setups. The centralized management dashboard is user-friendly and helps the IT team manage users, permissions, and network access efficiently. I appreciate the stable connection quality and strong security features, especially for remote and hybrid work environments. It's also quick to add new users or devices, making scaling and onboarding smoother for growing teams. The initial setup was straightforward and relatively easy compared to traditional hardware-based VPNs. Overall, I would rate OpenVPN CloudConnexa 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it to friends or colleagues looking for a dependable cloud-based VPN solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa has worked very well overall, but there are a few areas where the experience could improve further. Some advanced configuration options can take time for new administrators to fully understand, especially for more complex network setups. Occasionally, the initial setup and policy configuration may require additional documentation or guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use OpenVPN CloudConnexa for secure remote access, simplifying secure connections for remote work. It centralizes management, reduces dependency on traditional VPNs, and strengthens network security with reliable connections and easy user management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Cloud-Managed Secure Networking with a Modern Dashboard"

5/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

What I like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa is how simple it makes secure private networking. I don't need to manage my own VPN servers, certificates, or complex network setup. most things just out of the box. The cloud-managed approach is very convenient. I can connect users, servers, and cloud resources without worrying about infrastructure maintenance. I also like the strong security model. Authentication, encryption, and access control feel solid, which gives confidence when handling sensitive systems. From a backend and infra point of view, it's great for connecting services across different clouds. Whether something is on AWS, GCP, or on-prem cloud, Connexa can connect them securely. Another thing I appreciate is the centralized dashboard. Managing users, connections, and access rules in one place is much easier than handling multiple VPN configs. It feels like a modern VPN solution, not an old, heavy network tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

One downside is that advanced networking concepts still require learning. While the basics are easy, deeper configuration can be confusing for new users. The UI could be more intuitive in some areas. Certain settings are not immediately clear without reading documentation. Pricing can be a concern for large teams, especially when many users or endpoints are involved. Another limitation is less flexibility compared to fully self-hosted VPNs. You trade some control for convenience. Debugging connectivity issues sometimes requires patience, especially when multiple networks and policies are involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa solves the problem of securely connecting people, services, and systems across different locations without building complex VPN infrastructure. Traditionally, setting up a secure private network means managing servers, firewall rules, certificates, and constant maintenance. CloudConnenexa removes most of this complexity. The biggest benefit for me is speed of setup. I can connect a new environment or user in minutes instead of days. It also improves security posture. Access is controlled centrally, and connections are encrypted by default, reducing risk. From a backend and ops perspective, it makes service-to-service communication safer. Internal APIs and databases can be accessed without exposing them to the public internet. Another major benefit is support for remote teams. Developers, admins, and support staff can access internal systems securely from anywhere. It reduces operations overhead. There is no need to patch VPN servers, rotate certificates manually, or monitor infrastructure health constantly. CloudConnect also helps with scaling. As teams or service groups grow, the network expands without major new work. It improves reliability. Cloud-managed networking is more stable than many homegrown VPN setups. Another benefit is better visibility and control. You can see who is connected and what they can access and revoke access quickly if needed. It also supports zero-trust-style access. Users only get access to what they need, not the entire network. Another benefit is less dependency on network experts. Even teams without deep network knowledge can manage access and connections without breaking things. It also makes onboarding new team members easier. New developers or admins can be given access quickly without sharing VPN configs or complex setup steps. CloudConnexa helps with clean environment separation. Production, staging, and internal tools can stay isolated while still being reachable in a controlled way. It reduces security risks from exposed services. Internal services don't need public IPs anymore, which lowers the attack surface. Another useful point is faster incident response. if something looks suspicious. Internal services don't need public IPs anymore, which lowers the attack surface. Another useful point is faster incident response. If something looks suspicious, access can be disabled immediately from one place. It also supports temporary access use cases. Contractors or short-term users can be granted access for a limited time and removed easily later. CloudConnexa also helps with fewer configuration mistakes. Since most networking rules are managed centrally, there is less chance of someone misconfiguring a VPN file or opening access by mistake. It makes day-to-day access management simpler. When roles change or someone switches teams, permissions can be updated quickly without touching multiple systems. Another helpful thing is better consistency across locations. Whether a team member is working from home, the office, or another country, access behavior stays the same, which avoids confusion and access issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Cloud-Native Connectivity with Zero Trust and Centralized Control"

4/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

What I like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa is its ability to deliver secure, cloud-native connectivity without the complexity of managing traditional VPN infrastructure. It combines Zero Trust principles with centralized policy control, allowing organizations to securely connect users, sites, and applications through a single fully managed platform. The flexibility to support remote access, site-to-site networking, and applicationlevel access along with strong visibility, scalability, and easy integration with hybrid and multi-cloud environments makes it a powerful and modern networking solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

One potential drawback of OpenVPN CloudConnexa is that, as a fully managed cloud service, it offers less deep-level customization and control compared to self hosted or appliance-based VPN solutions, which may not suit highly complex or legacy-heavy network environments. Some organizations may also find the pricing structure higher than traditional VPN setups at scale, especially for large user bases, and advanced configurations can require a learning curve for teams transitioning from conventional network architectures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

OpenVPN CloudConnexa solves the challenges of providing secure, scalable, and easy-to-manage connectivity for Amrut Software and our clients by replacing complex, hardware-centric VPN solutions with a cloud-native, centrally managed platform. It eliminates the need for multiple appliances and fragmented access policies, streamlines secure remote access for users, and enforces consistent Zero Trust security across distributed environments. This benefits Amrut Software and our clients by reducing infrastructure overhead, improving network reliability and performance, simplifying administration and policy control, and enabling faster, secure access to critical applications and resources, ultimately enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction. "Effortless VPN with Solid Security Features"

4.5/5

What do you like best about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

I appreciate the easy setup of OpenVPN CloudConnexa with very few configurations required. The intuitive UI makes navigation straightforward, like easily finding the user section or network tab when needed. The low costs are also a big plus. Additionally, the support team was a great help during the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenVPN CloudConnexa?

I would say if it can be integrated with solutions like Suricata or Snort inline, or could support detection rules that would be a great advantage, also third-party threat intel integration would be most valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenVPN CloudConnexa solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use OpenVPN CloudConnexa to securely connect remote users to internal networks and block malicious sites. It's easy to set up with an intuitive UI, and keeps costs low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
