OpenJDK 24 has already come up, so OpenJDK 11 is kind of outdated. Ubuntu version has also 23/24 and these are stable versions
Having used the software on Ubuntu 18.04, this reviewer finds it easy to install and stable with enhancements over the previous version. OpenJDK 11 feels outdated compared to newer releases like OpenJDK 24.

I consider this as one of the most stable images I've ever used. I have a lot of EC2 instances running with it and so far it has been running smoothly, so no complains about that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that is creator's fault, but the image could be a bit outdated in some internal dependencies, although it doesn't make an impact in the way the applications running on it work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The deployment stack, Auto-update, was available for JRE installations. It's undergone many changes in its implementation since JDK 9, through JDK 10, and it's finally been standardized in JDK11.
