What do you dislike about OneTrust Tech Risk & Compliance?
I am writing this review to express my disappointment since onetrust acquired tugboat. As a customer who has been using this product for some time now, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service and feature delivery.
Firstly, I have noticed that the company seems to be focusing more on merging into onetrust than actually delivering value to their customers. This has resulted in fewer features being delivered to the customers. As a result, I have noticed a decrease in the relevance and effectiveness of the product in meeting my needs.
Secondly, the support experience has been extremely poor since the company switched to a separate support portal. It has become increasingly difficult to get in touch with the support team, it is also a separate account that is not the same.
Furthermore, I was recently assigned a new account manager without being informed, and I have not heard from them since the change which was a couple of months ago. This lack of communication and follow-up is unacceptable and has further added to my frustration with the product.
In addition, I have observed a fundamental flaw in the Google Workspace integration to automatically import users into groups. It seems that the team responsible for this integration does not fully understand the difference between a directory OU and a group as it can only sync the directory OU belonging of users. Although the system allows for syncing users from Google workspace to groups within the system, this is not a feasible solution as users can only belong to one OU in google workspace (and active directory for that mater) while they can belong to multiple groups in the system. This feature works fine for azure ad and okta but not for google workspace.
Besides this the UX experience of the product is very bad, you get lost all the time if you are not a product expert.
Overall, I was once confident in the relevant features that were being delivered by this product. However, the recent changes have left me disappointed and questioning the value of continuing to use this product. I hope that the company takes the necessary steps to address these issues and focus more on delivering value to their customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
