OneStream is easy to use for Finance professionals. The implementation was easy and the use of the consolidation tool has improved our close process by reducing the hours spent, but also improving the level of confidence we have in our monthly results. Finance owns the product and any changes we need to make, we can implement without IT involvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We still have work to make our forecasting process easier and smoother. Right now we still are leveraging Excel to do much of our forecasting, but are in the process of looking for a better option within OneStream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am very impressed by OneStream so far! We are currently in implementation and have had zero issues upgrading from HFM to OneStream for Close and Consolidations. The system works very efficiently - it takes very few clicks to make any changes required and I love that we can easily download a complete audit trail of the changes. I like the consolidation capability and the ease of use. It didn't take me long to learn where to find the items I needed and how to make changes when needed. The implementation has been going well and our implementation team has helped tremendously. The flexibility of the software for meeting the needs of our team such as with consolidation and reporting. More features are continually added to keep up with the changing financial landscape and new technologies to allow our team to use the newest technologies for additional efficiencies. The UI on the desktop app feels relatively outdated, and the terminology can be difficult to understand. Extendable dimensionality took me a long time to understand even with the training provided online, so it would be nice to see additional basic training to help new users get acquainted with the software. For me, the best part of OneStream are the reporting capabilities and the ease of use. Also, the ability to integrate multiple source systems and blending operational data.
