Some support staff are helping, but others insist there's an issue with my account security. However, my security settings have been updated for years as needed. I am still able to stream using the stream key feature, but it's tedious, and the chat doesn't work through it. L I guess what bothers me is the inconsistency in support. The interface needs more improvement, as I can see in Stream Labs Talk Studio (I took it as Melon, but the name has changed now). It also has some really cool backgrounds and intervals to add during the live stream. But definitely the best part about onestream live is their support team who are available round the clock. You just have to ping them on live chat and each support representative goes out of their way to help you out with their questions. Seem to listen to feedback. **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** Update: OneStream seemed to literally update their plan overnight and remove their watermark from RTMP streaming on their base-plan. I don't know if this was in response to my gripes or already in the works but, I honestly don't have any problems with the platform anymore. OUTDATED INFO: My main reason for trying OneStream was I wanted to give one of the "other guys" a try, having used Restream and Castr extensively. I used it for all of about 5 minutes before cancelling my plan. My needs are pretty simple, OneStream was to act as an intermediary between OBS and Facebook Live. After upgrading to the $10/mo plan and testing I discovered the main reason I won't be using the platform further: A big ok' OneStream Live watermark plastered on your stream, right after subscribing to a paid plan. Let's be clear, ReStream and Castr both offer NO WATERMARKS on their free tier, for OneStream to be plastering any watermark at all over paying subscribers streams is ridiculous, let alone the rather large, full-color, zero-opcacity rendition they chose. This kind of thing is absolutely not to be expected, and was not made clear during the signup process. This is great for the times I want to add multiple commentators that can provide insides or their thoughts. At any time, I could have up to 8-10 people in a streaming session. Throw on top of this the other great features like adding intervals, background music, media clips (under a certain file size), the Live Sales feature, and having the ability to do all of this in 1080P. It's incredible for our reach. We even sent our livestreams directly to our partners' Facebook groups from OneStream. I have so many good things to say. We rocked it at many online events we created for our audiences and it just works. Every single time. **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** I don't know any downsides. Sometimes I experienced weird issues with connected social media accounts, but I have also built a social media scheduling app, so I know first-hand that those issues are impossible to avoid, due to Facebook changes, Twitch changes, etc. Also, everything is easily fixed and their support teams is great! **What problems is OneStream Live solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was very hard to keep up with streaming and preparing streams for: - Facebook Pages - Facebook Groups - LinkedIN - Twitch - Youtube - Twitter Livestreams (or whatever they are called these days) We have many channels and many pages on all those platforms, so OneStream was instrumental for us. We couldn't have done it without them. ### 31. It provided flexibility in our productions with reducing our connection to our audience while streamlining our workflow and reducing required resources. **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** One downside for us is that our lives are typically larger than 2GB. So always having to upload to a cloud host and then link was just another step. The UI makes it simple to find the platform you're wanting to link up with, and to set it up. I now have OneStream linked to my LinkedIn profile, my FB business page + group, Instagram and YouTube. I've only needed to reach out to support a couple of times - each time with general questions, not actually needing assistance. Both times they were very quick to respond. My absolute favourite part is the scheduled live videos - this has been my primary use case. **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** No studio feature. With that said, they've just released a beta for the studio for users to apply to use. I haven't used it yet, so I can't really comment on how good it is. **What problems is OneStream Live solving and how is that benefiting you?** I get really nervous when it comes to doing actual live stream videos, so I'll pre-record a video and live stream it instead. I upload and schedule through OneStream rather than trying to go live at the actual time of day myself. ### 41. They respond almost instantly and have a good and helpful answer for all of my needs. I highly recommend them 🙌🏽 **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** The only thing that can be improved, that I have noticed so far, is the embed code thumbnail. For some odd reason, after setting an image for the cover of the live stream, it changed back to the default one a couple of times. BUT, I tried it again recently and it seems to be nice and stable. Also I do wish that we could use multiple Embed codes at a time on the Pro plan. **Recommendations to others considering OneStream Live:** Try it out. I believe you will love it and it will help you with your streaming needs... Ecamm live, OBS, BeLive--they all work and make it so you can broadcast how you want, wherever you want. I've had times I broadcast on Facebook live to a page, group, and profile, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and a custom page on my website. I'm getting ready to add TikTok and maybe Twitch. 2) I L-O-V-E the unified chat. That means when you're connected to all these profiles, if someone makes a comment on your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Twitch stream, you'll see that comment in one place. Very slick. **What do you dislike about OneStream Live?** Honestly, it's hard to find much I don't like about OneStream Live. I used to use Restream because of their Unified Chat, but once OneStream got it, moving 100% over was a no-brainer. I do wish they had their own front-end software like BeLive or OBS so I didn't have to connect other services, but I imagine something like that's on the horizon. **What problems is OneStream Live solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I'm solving with OneStream Live is the ability to broadcast to MULTIPLE platforms at once as well as store my videos on their servers for quick and easy access. I used to have to port every video I recorded to all these platforms individually. No more!
