What I liked best was that you can design web interfaces directly with drag & drop and then connect them directly to the data classes. Also, the fact that these classes are inheritable and can be used in different contexts is impressive. Omnis Studio lacks the flexibility and versatility. It's poor that it is unable to develop applications, for platforms such as Windows, macOS and even mobile devices at once for me. I have used Omnis for many years, their current main product in Omnis Studio, but I've used there previous incarnation, called Omnis 7, even from these early days, the solution could be developed on lets say Windows, and you could expect it to work on a Mac machine just as well, with few system based changes.

I have created many bespoke solutions for both large companies, and small companies, and we could always bring the solution to market well before we might in any other language.

I love the Integrated development environment. I can code and test at the same time. The debugger allows me to step through code, make a change and re-run lines of code. This allows me to more quickly troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise. I like the that Omnis Studio provides the most cost-productive method of prototyping, and turning those prototypes into mission-critical applications. Omnis Studio is a modern and extensible, object oriented development environment and language. It can be enhanced through the use of third party extensions, and even has the api documentation for writing custom, in-house extensions using a variety of programming languages.
