"A very useful software"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OBS Studio?

I really like the way the software is structured because it allows for a very low learning curve, it's quite user-friendly, and no specific knowledge is needed to use it, it's very intuitive. I love being able to add different cameras and other elements to the scenes, I can make a recording while switching scenes and cameras, I can add filters, clipping masks, and other elements giving my videos a professional touch. The virtual camera option has helped me integrate it with other videoconferencing software. And best of all, it's free software, completely free and constantly updated. What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

The only thing I don't like about this software is that the images with text that I present while using it as a virtual camera on other platforms, like Zoom, lose a lot of quality, the letters can't be seen well, and I still don't know how to fix this problem. "Best open source broadcasting software"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OBS Studio?

OBS is by far the most used and best broadcasting software. You can easily stream on youtube or go live on Facebook. Setting it up is also very easy with minimal effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

They should add more streaming platforms. Currently, they have Facebook, Youtube, and Tumblr. Also sometimes it disconnects and does not connect automatically. it had to be done manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Actually, I like the screen recording features of OBS! This software's UI (User Interface) is so easy and smooth. I also like the Live Streaming features. I can easily go live on YouTube. What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

Actually, I dislike the editor features which are not responsible and not well features on Studio Mode. But the others features are very smooth and easy to operate for any user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredibly Simple Screen Recording and Streaming"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OBS Studio?

OBS has almost every single feature that a premium service (whether screen recording or streaming) would offer, but with a brilliant UI and absolutely free. Truly amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

The number of features, though well integrated and laid out, can be fairly overwhelming for a new user to come to grips with and set up. Especially the streaming aspects can be tricky to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best for editing my news report videos"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OBS Studio?

We have a lot of paid software for live streaming, video editing, video recording, but OBS is the best among all of them. As It is fully loaded with many features, is it free as well. We regularly get updates from OBS to use the best version. We can integrate with many other software for live streaming, such as Facebook, YouTube, etc. And all this can be done by just entering the key that we get from our other streaming platforms. Here in OBS, apart from Live streaming, we can also edit the video and the audio too. It has a large community, so we get help immediately from its community forum. Also, there are lots of tutorials available on the internet to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

While live streaming in any app like YouTube or Facebook, the video is lagging when using in low configuration PCs. I think this should be improved so that everybody can use OBS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredible, workable solution for broadcasting that is open sourced (free) to use."
4.5/5
What do you like best about OBS Studio?

It's hard to sum up all that is good about OBS (Open Broadcast Software) - there are other (paid) solutions that might look a little fancier or are a little more streamlined. However, if what you need is a good, workable solution to get broadcasting, OBS is the place to start. And for many of us, it's a fine place to stay - very little reason to "upgrade" to a paid broadcasting solution. What I use OBS most for is integrating with Facebook "go-live" function. Easily enter stream ket and go live in a few clicks. Audio meter right there, middle of the screen to make sure levels are good. I've run on quite a few computers, and it will run on modest equipment. I've even had good luck teaching it to other, non-technical people with a high success rate. The built-in recorder is also helpful for making backups of streamed events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OBS Studio?

It's hard to complain about Open Source (free) software. Yet, if I had to find something, the included font size is a little small, especially in the menus. As eyes are getting older, sometimes I wish they included an option for a larger font size. There are a few places where windows could be a bit more refined (like rounded corners, etc). But the esthetics aren't bad. There is a plug in to control PTZ cameras but it would be nice if it was natively a part of the program (wishes). Still, it's hard to fault open source software like this that works so well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
