## OBIX Perinatal Data System Reviews
  ### 1. Obix use on a postpartum unit

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I work on a postpartum unit as a registered nurse. What I like about Obix is that everyone is able to see what is going on in our labor and delivery unit from anywhere else on the unit. For example when i’m on postpartum I can see how many patients are on the monitors in labor and delivery.

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

Sometimes Obix glitches. It also loses track of fetal heart rates and restarts itself at times. This is very inconvenient when monitoring patients in labor

**Recommendations to others considering OBIX Perinatal Data System:**

I would recommend using Obix on any Ob unit, it’s a great way to make sure everyone on the unit is aware of how many patients are in labor/ delivering

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone is able to see what’s happening in labor and delivery. It helps us anticipate how many patients will be moved to postpartum

  ### 2. Obix

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I like the color scheme. I think it is easy to follow, and you can view it on multiple locations on the unit. That makes me and the other nurses aware of our patients no matter where we are. This gives us the ability to help out other nurses when we are busy with another patient.

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I wish that we could directly chart on to the strip and it would sync with Epic. I don't like when there is a downtime and the whole screen goes down because then I am unaware what is happening with my patient or my baby. The system does not notify you before it is about to go down.

**Recommendations to others considering OBIX Perinatal Data System:**

I think it is okay, but would look at other options as well! I feel like there are other options out there who make things a little easier for the nurses and quicker. Spend a lot of time double charting with this system. There could be notifications that alerted you if there was going to be a downtime or if there was something happening where the patient was off the monitor.

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems would be that they need to have better ways to make us aware when they are planning on doing down time updates. They need another option for when there is a down time so that they have ways to keep track of their patients. The benefits are that you are able to see the patient's monitor strip from different locations all over the unit and this helps us be more aware of what is happening.

  ### 3. Great Program for L&D Departments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

We have been using OBIX for the past few years and have found it to be the best perinatal data system that we have used to date. It does a great job tracking fetal heart rates and contractions, allows the user to easily move patients to different rooms, and it’s easy to update patient status as well (laboring, cesarean birth, vaginal birth, etc etc).

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

The system is very “basic,” looking. It would be helpful if we could add information like grav-para to the information bar where providers are listed.

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping mothers and babies healthy by allowing providers to constantly monitor their wellbeing.

  ### 4. Obix to monitor labor and delivery patients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2019

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I love being able to monitor multiple patients at once. I can be at a laboring patient's room and still continue to monitor another patient that is in triage. Also, that my coworkers are able to monitor my patients while I am busy with another patient and can rapidly act if they would see anything wrong.

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I do not really dislike anything from Obix I think it is a great software to use. Only downside is having to hold patietns once they have delivered.

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to act immediately when a FHR drops and have positive outcomes.

  ### 5. Obix at work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

It's convenient because it's available to be on multiple computer screens at once. Everyone on the unit can know what's happening back in labor and delivery and stay in the loop.

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I dislike when the system glitches and sometimes it's unable to read the patient data. That's about it, it's a really good system.

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems this system is solving is lack of communication between staff members. This allows more people to see all the patient data so it doesn't always have to be communicated. Everything is just right there.

  ### 6. Helps monitor what room patients are in

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2019

**What do you like best about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I like when I can tell if the patient is pushing because I will need to register their baby once they are born so once I see them off the monitor

**What do you dislike about OBIX Perinatal Data System?**

I don’t like when the system goes down and the bed says it is on hold

**What problems is OBIX Perinatal Data System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has helped keep track of patients and what rooms they are in
