## Nutshell Reviews
  ### 1. Enhancing understanding of our sales performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul L. | IT Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Through Nutshell, I have been able to ensure that everyone from my sales team is receiving real-time updates about client interactions, tasks, and schedules. One could agree, that such real-time visibility has enhanced our general team dynamics perception positively.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

For a CRM platform to be useful for the sales team to track leads, the reporting features in Nutshell are considerably weak. For additional levels of detail, I must manually export data from the external software and use Excel to analyze them.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell has also helped me in the deployment by organizing leads, potential clients and opportunities. Of course, the application is very user-friendly and virtually all aspects can be managed very easily, which has certainly helped our team perform more effectively.

  ### 2. Easy to use CRM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian F. | Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

It allows a more exact follow-up of the sales of each person with whom I interact to keep the information updated and allow my work to be more organized. It allows me to expand the opportunity to have more clients and they have a support team that is always attentive to any concerns and helps to give great job help tips.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

There is nothing that I dislike about all of its operation and support, I like it and there are no serious flaws that have not been resolved quickly.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its use is easy to learn and helps me have a more organized workflow. It is what benefits me the most because it eliminates a lot of workload and saves time in processes.

  ### 3. This CRM is unrivaled from a functional perspective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

With sales funnels, task scheduling, reminders, and follow-up emails and messages, I can effortlessly follow up on leads, follow up on prospects, and complete tasks throughout the sales process. Maintaining leadership in effective and collaborative marketing, project management and customer account management, with great success in all relevant circumstances. It is a strategic integration tool, and so it should be. Without any hiccups.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

The effectiveness of the software was undeniable due to its stellar performance during the time I used it.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Achieving a roadmap that includes profitability and greater simplicity in projects was our goal for the last quarter, and we used it to enhance our approach. With regular updates that keep everything up to date in each line of business, it has been an invaluable asset to the collaborative management of the company. It's great software, easy to use, reasonably priced and with great immediate responsiveness in marketing and project management, so I think it's a fantastic choice. It offers a satisfactory level of performance for any level of demand.

  ### 4. Nutshell meets our lead management & contact needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is an easy way to manage our thousands and thousands of leads, the relationships with our customers and maintain detailed logs of outreach and communications. We use it literally every day and love the template options as well as the clear, visual way they let you view your contacts.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Wish there was some flexibility within Nutshell to customize a bit more for our industry/type of business. Also, would love to see even more integration opportunities with Intercom so we didn't have to duplicate some of our efforts/notes, etc.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutshell is managing our thousands of leads and allows us to communicate with them seamlessly, simply and quickly.

  ### 5. Excellent platform for building professional mobile apps!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

We used Nutshell to deliver enterprise-standard mobile applications at ten times the speed of our traditional native mobile development process. This was easy to do using a drag-and-drop interface, supported with dozens of useful components that make building mobile apps simple, quick and effective.

Given the intuitive nature of the platform, all our staff now have the capability to build mobile applications. This includes those without technical backgrounds and has empowered our workforce in ways that we never imagined. Our staff are delighted and have responded with very positive feedback.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

Occasionally, it can be challenging knowing where to begin when creating a mobile application for the first time. It’s important to have patience and understand that you will need to iterate your app as it is built.

Fortunately, Nutshell’s drag-and-drop interface allows you to add an excellent range of components quickly and simply. It’s then easy to make improvements and tweaks, optimising the app for end users. This is excellent way of ensuring that apps are user-friendly and meet their intended purpose.

**Recommendations to others considering Nutshell:**

To achieve the maximum benefit from Nutshell, it’s important to review the process that you want to create a mobile app for.

Nutshell has strong value in facilitating a move to paperless. However, it is excellent in enabling process optimisation. This is essential to any organisation looking to improve profitability, productivity and efficiency.

Given the affordable nature of the platform, I would recommend arranging a demo to witness the features available. We have plans to use Nutshell for dozens of apps in future. Nutshell is a tremendous tool that has helped us to grow our business significantly and delivered an excellent ROI.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We built 67 mobile applications for an enterprise-scale customer. These were to be used for safety-critical tasks, meaning that functionality, reliability and security were paramount.

Using a team of four with no prior experience of using Nutshell, we built all 67 apps within four weeks. These apps required a complex mix of functionality including an integrated approval workflow, photo capture, signatures, PDF generation and automated emails.

These apps were extremely well-received and are now being used nationally by hundreds of users. It has also generated major new opportunities for our business.

Using a traditional ‘native’ approach would have taken us 18 - 24 months, along with incurring major opportunity and financial costs that would have made the project totally nonviable.

  ### 6. Great experience converting paper based forms into mobile apps.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

The general feel of the Nutshell builder is very good. It is very easy to start the build process of a new app.

It is easy to customise the apps. As this is a drag and drop application, it allows our team to drop components on to the canvas and we can then customise the design of the app to match those of our paper based forms.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

At first, I found it a little difficult to get my head around the different naming conventions for certain drag and drop components. This was more based on the more complex components which would be used to integrate Nutshell with other applications within our organisation.

Once I done carried out some research in to the individual components I found the capabilities fantastic. The fact we can use an API with Nutshell is great, other parts of our business will greatly benefit from this.

**Recommendations to others considering Nutshell:**

Nutshell makes it easy to create multiple apps within a short time. These apps can then be customised and distributed where needed. Apps only need to be built once and are then available on both iOS and Android.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working on making our office paperless. We are doing this by using Nutshell to covert all of our paper based forms. We have successfully built multiple apps within our organisation which have been shared across out business. It is very easy to view completed forms as these are issued in an email and stored within databases for audit purposes.

  ### 7. Great way to build apps with a limited background in development.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Nutshell?**

Nutshell is perfect for converting simple forms e.g. inspections/ address books/ time sheets into digital versions both quickly and reliably. I have used Nutshell to create both simple and complex solutions, and I am impressed with its large amount of functionality without having to write a single line of code. I have created a wide range of apps, connecting with both Nutshell's local database, and external back-ends using Nutshell's integrated API tool. Both data storage methods can be created quickly and easily alongside any form you create.

I was also impressed with the added visual angle of development/ build work within Nutshell. The drag and drop approach that Nutshell uses allows users to track how their app looks at every stage of the development process, and the preview/test modes allow apps to be tested easily away from a Live environment.

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**

When building the apps, I think it would be much more beneficial to have a global styling capability. I was part of a team building a large number of apps at enterprise level, and each of these apps needed to be styled according to the customer's design. This meant individually styling each component with Margins, colours, logos etc...
It would have saved time if there was a way to style a single element, and each time that element is re-used it inherits the same styles.

However, individually styling each element still proved to be much faster than if we were to code all of the apps from scratch.

**Recommendations to others considering Nutshell:**

If you have low to no development experience and are looking to build a large number of apps in a short space of time that you wish to manage yourself, Nutshell is perfect.

**What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work a lot with converting a wide range of paper forms into digital versions. Nutshell allows me to build and publish apps at a rapid rate. It allows me to clearly set out my workflow so that if other people look at my apps they can easily work out the logic behind them, and Nutshell's version control tool allows me to easily keep track of what I've changed with each app.

  ### 8. Collaborative platform

**What do you dislike about Nutshell?**
