The interface is clean, dataset management is straightforward, and I can start gaining insights without a complicated setup. Overall, it feels fast, intuitive, and genuinely developer-friendly. **What do you dislike about Nomic Platform?** What I dislike is that some of the more advanced capabilities come with a learning curve for new users. I’d like to see more built-in tutorials and clearer onboarding examples to help people get started. They don't require a steep learning curve, so even team members who aren't data scientists can quickly click through the map, search for specific document groups, and understand the dataset connections. The ability to customize color labels for different topic models makes scanning through text logs super fast. It turns dry, boring spreadsheets into a visual presentation that makes sense during strategy meetings. Being able to color-code clusters based on specific topics means we can easily spot anomalies or outliers that would be completely lost in plain text. This feature helps us make decisions much quicker because the data is presented so intuitively. Additionally, the initial setup was simpler than expected, with well-structured documentation, so our team didn't need much training to get started. Linking our existing dataset environments and customizing visual filters took just a couple of hours. Overall, it's an exceptionally powerful tool for text visualization. **What do you dislike about Nomic Platform?** The export functionality for large visual maps could definitely be improved. When we try to download high-resolution maps or massive text metadata arrays for client presentations, it occasionally times out or takes too long. It allows me to create workflows quickly by just describing to AI what I want, and it'll build it for me. I also appreciate that once the workflow is set up, I can immediately start uploading documents to retrieve and analyze information. The platform has been helpful in finding specific details on past projects to ensure I'm referencing the latest work and for standards reviews. It's ability to iterate across multiple projects is incredibly valuable, as it ensures I'm using the most recent projects rather than pulling from the last project I did. Additionally, I notice that they have improved their onboarding instructions and ways to organize files recently, which has made the learning curve much less steep. DISCLAIMER: I am also an investor in Nomic **What do you dislike about Nomic Platform?** I think sometimes you have to force it to iterate over a lot of data, but that's something they're working on. It's finding the balance between token preservation and iterating over a lot of data. Also, because it's more of a generic platform, you have to work a little bit to get the workflows working exactly how you want them. **What problems is Nomic Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Nomic Platform for AI use cases to find information in structural and construction documents. It helps me iterate across projects easily and ensures I'm referencing the latest details, which is great for accuracy and workflow efficiency. ### 5. It enables us to get a good understanding of unstructured data. **What do you dislike about Nomic Platform?** Atlas does not provides us with a wide variety of integrations.
