I’ve used four scraping vendors in my career and Nimble’s support is the fastest by a mile. Real engineers answer, not tier-1 scripts. They helped us debug a gnarly session handling issue on a travel site within a day. We also lean on the live web search for ad hoc questions where we don’t already have a target URL. We’re one of the large enterprise logos they reference. We run tens of millions of pages each month across pricing, shelf, and brand use cases, and the throughput SLAs have held up. Technically, it’s excellent. The REST design is clean, the SDKs are solid, and the defaults are sensible once you’ve configured the formats correctly. Data quality is strong and validates well against ground truth. Search relevance is genuinely good too; I just wish there were more community threads to lean on when I run into edge cases. The community is pretty small. With Scrapy, or even Apify, you can find an answer to almost any problem in forums and community threads. With Nimble, I usually end up reading the docs or emailing support instead. Their support is great, but community knowledge compounds over time in a way support tickets simply don’t. Solutions engineer joined our first call, understood the use case, and had a working proof of concept against our actual targets within a week. No generic demo environment, our real data. We integrated the Search API into our internal research agents via their MCP server, and the whole setup took about an afternoon. Deep search mode returns full page content, which saves us from having to do a second fetch step. The audit log means every data point in our report traces to a source fetch with a timestamp. Our clients' auditors have accepted it without pushback.
