names.co.uk Reviews & Product Details

I like that names.co.uk Domain Names has an easy enough control panel to use. It's simple to find renewal, transfer, and change DNS information. The reminder emails are helpful too. It's also easy enough to purchase domains for the first time and set DNS records. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It isn't the cheapest provider for 2nd year renewal, so I usually move to either gandi.net or GetDotted, which is by Freeola. Price needs to be competitive for myself to keep domains there or transfer to yourselves. Have providers with better pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They offer perhaps the best price for first year for .com domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No chat support. After ordering your first domain name, there is a gap of 24 to 48 hours that is used to verify authenticity of the new buyer. This is unlike other domain registrars where one can start using a domain name immediately after buying and verifying over the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It appears they are particularly interested in helping everyone leverage business opportunities that United Kingdom offers to global citizens. They are offering for the first year for free one .co.uk and one .uk domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have nothing to dislike as my interaction with customer support friendly and no issue faced yet that could not be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you start a business, concern for cost is real. You have so many hardware devices, subscriptions, and software to buy. Names.co.uk provides a discounted .co.uk domains for the first year that one will perhaps not find elsewhere. Their shared hosting and other services are at par with other brands in the same niche when it comes to pricing and quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have nothing to complain as of now, except that they could provide 24x7 chat support which to the best of my knowledge not available for residents of India. Otherwise, they do respond within a day once ticket raised and are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pricing. The only thing that I don't like is pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, there is not much to like, all other providers offer at least what names.co.uk offer. They are prompt in answering you if you have an issue- that is all good about them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the fact that they do not say in the very beginning that their amazing price does not include too much. Later you discover you need to pay for everything. For example, you want to set up on your phone the SMTP server to send emails and you realize you can't send emails from your phone unless you pay extra. I wanted to use the popular wordpress platform (which is free). They told me it is not free and I had to pay in order to use Wordpress (it never happened with other providers) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
