I love the convenience of this tool. This is perfect for nights that families still want to read but have not had time to visit a library or book store. I LOVE that students have instant access to SO many books! Students do not have to wait for their library day or stand in line to get a new book. Finding a book is quick and easy! The photographs and colors in the books are amazing and grab your attention. There are tools available to help teachers use books and articles during class lessons. With distance learning becoming the norm for school the MyOn program has proven an invaluable tool to offer a myriad of reading opportunities to my students. The options for fiction and nonfiction texts, in conjunction with current event news eliminates any obstacles for access to materials. The only downside at this point was that my district adopted MyOn after closing the schools. Therefore, instructing the students on how to maneuver the site was challenging.
