## myON Reviews
  ### 1. Highly Reccommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephania S. | Academic Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about myON?**

I absolutely love myON for its incredible accessibility to a vast array of literature, especially high-interest books that are current and relevant for students. The platform truly understands what engages young readers today. The focus on building vocabulary is fantastic, seamlessly integrated within the reading experience to enhance students' language skills naturally. Moreover, myON's alignment with Accelerated Reader is a huge plus, as it ensures that students can easily track their progress and comprehension. This thoughtful integration makes myON not just a reading tool, but a comprehensive learning resource. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about myON?**

I would love for a stronger focus on middle school students. Can the platform have streaks or social interaction that would appeal to a gen z generation.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to literature for all students!

  ### 3. MyON is so convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shonda H. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about myON?**

I love the convenience of this tool. This is perfect for nights that families still want to read but have not had time to visit a library or book store. This is even more convenient for students who do not have that support from home since all of the book choices are within their range and interest. I find more students read non fiction in MyON than they normally would.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

I actually do not have any complaints at all. Everything works well. I am happy with the program and the book options. I love that they include fiction and non fiction options.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue is not having family support for helping students choose books. I love that MyON solves this problem, yet still offers many options of books and articles in several genres to invoke interest

  ### 4. Encouraging a Love of Reading with MyOn!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about myON?**

I LOVE that students have instant access to SO many books! Students do not have to wait for their library day or stand in line to get a new book. Finding a book is quick and easy! The photographs and colors in the books are amazing and grab your attention. There are tools available to help teachers use books and articles during class lessons. There is even an option to read the book aloud! It is hard to not get excited about reading when you see all the options MyOn has to offer!

**What do you dislike about myON?**

Learning how to navigate MyOn and use the photo icons can take some time to learn.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyOn makes it easy to encourage students to read daily. When students are reading daily, they are gaining new reading skills. Students are happy and more excited to read if they are able to select their own text.

  ### 5. Great Content

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2020

**What do you like best about myON?**

There are tons of books to choose from. They mirror popular titles that kids gravitate towards. There are tons of fiction, graphic novels, and nonfiction.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

The search is pretty bad. It's difficult to find what you're looking for, even if you are typing in the exact title. The subject search pulls up tons of books that don't fit.

**Recommendations to others considering myON:**

When trying to come back to a specific book, link it somewhere as it may be difficult to find through the search.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see what students are reading. I can assign my whole class a group of books to choose from that will enhance each of our reading units, as well as other content areas.

  ### 6. MyOn just makes everything easier!

**What do you dislike about myON?**

There is nothing I have encounter with this program.

**Recommendations to others considering myON:**

This is a great program that is easy to use with students.

I love how this program is kids friendly.

  ### 7. myON Review

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about myON?**

I really like the recommendations that myON provides me.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

Sometimes I feel like there isn't enough recommendations.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding new and interesting material that is relevant to the topic that I'm focused on. I don't have to struggle as much with finding new material

  ### 8. myON my way

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario S. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2020

**What do you like best about myON?**

I like how easy it is to use and keep track of my students reading habits.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

Sometimes students have a hard time finding a book.

**Recommendations to others considering myON:**

It is a must, specially now that we are doing distant learning and our students don't have access to a library.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reading fluency and comprehension. Every since we have been in this pandemic, myON has been a crucial tool so that my students can still read and improve their reading skills.

  ### 9. MyOn for Distance education

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lloyd G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2020

**What do you like best about myON?**

With distance learning becoming the norm for school the MyOn program has proven an invaluable tool to offer a myriad of reading opportunities to my students. The options for fiction and nonfiction texts, in conjunction with current event news eliminates any obstacles for access to materials. Additionally with the reports and accountability tools I can track my students' progress on a daily basis, even while working remotely.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

The only downside at this point was that my district adopted MyOn after closing the schools. Therefore, instructing the students on how to maneuver the site was challenging. Also, with increased budget cuts maintaining costly subscriptions will be a challenge.

**Recommendations to others considering myON:**

This is a great tool for all levels of education. The articles can be utilized in both an ELA and Social Studies class, while the books can be used for independent reading or whole group / small group instruction.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an ELA teacher in a high needs school I am solving the material problem. Students now have access to books and articles that we normally would not be able to use.

  ### 10. Easy to use

**What do you like best about myON?**

I really like the ease of being able to assign projects to the students, monitor their growth and goals that they set, and that there are texts in Spanish for my students.

**What do you dislike about myON?**

At this time, there is nothing that I dislike.

**What problems is myON solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes you do not have the correct Lexile level for the diverse group of students within your classroom or enough interest in certain books, and this product allows students to have a choice in their learning while allowing a teacher to easily track.
