Approvals tend to be the actual bottleneck more often than planning or status updates, since planning happens once per campaign but an approval loop can repeat for every single asset. I've noticed that show up in reviews too: one marketing-focused Hive reviewer specifically credited the tool with reducing overall campaign timelines by cutting down the number of approval phases needed, not by improving planning or reporting. So of the three, approvals are usually the highest-leverage place to fix first.
