I have experienced some problems regarding old version programs on my computer which I installed many years ago. Symantec struggle to complete authentication of older programs. Addition to this I have never received any virus search report after scan of my computer. Its lack of advancement in the area is the main thing we disliked about the product. With comparing to other similar type products, Symantec had a low technological advancement rate in the EP area altogether. When all the other EP software provided next generation features with behavioral based detection, Symantec only provided the basic functions in a more traditional way.
