Disappointed and Misled **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025 **What do you like best about MultCloud.com?** The User Interface is just OK, the site is responsive. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** I needed to quickly copy 104GB Google data to a 1T Apple cloud share. Paid $7.99 for 100GB and then had to add $5.99 for an additional increment of 50GB to be able to get the final 4GB transferred. I found that I had run out of bytes and assumed I had somehow doubled up on data, so I purchased ANOTHER $5.99 and +50GB. At this point, I am $19.97 into this task and the transfer fails again and I was unable to transfer 104GB of data with a total purchased 200GB in transfer bytes. I reached out to MultCloud's support and usually got a next day snarky response and it was explained that, even though I had selected do not transfer duplicates in the operations screen, every time a transfer is attempted all data is counted as transferred, even if the transfer failed due to a system failure. Even if you have nothing to do with the failure, or even understand what the ubiquitous error "104" error this system provides, it counts the attempt against your purchased bytes. I spent $19.97 for 200GB of data transfer, four days of effort, and did not get my 104GB transferred. Confusing system, misleading operations and a complete failure to perform. **What problems is MultCloud.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed to quickly copy 104GB Google data to a 1T Apple cloud share. Decent (but not exceptional) coverage of cloud providers. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** I had a very straightforward need -- transfer about 20TB of data from DropBox to Google Drive. I got the best possible account with Multcloud but it was still extremely slow. Speed aside, it started skipping files -- I would see them scroll by in their web interface but they never actually got transferred. I got inane responses from support always ending with "restart your task". The task that's been running for 20 days. Multcloud is dangerously unreliable as it showed no alerts about its failings -- I almost lost irreplaceable data if not for my own manual checks. **What problems is MultCloud.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's supposed to help me transfer data between cloud providers. I can move items between accounts and if I need more bandwidth, I can upgrade my free account to a subscription then if I don't need that anymore, I am free to cancel at any time. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** I wish there was an android app and that they had a desktop app as well. However, I have had other products and they require subscriptions and I DO NOT DO SUBSCRIPTIONS...so, that being said. I am grateful to have a place to go to see most all of my drives and the ability to move stuff around. BTW, you don't have to stay on the page to wait for the moving to complete. **What problems is MultCloud.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have 3 OneDrives and 3 Google Drives and a Flickr account - I tend to run out of space in one or the other and the web app shows me how much space, and then I can move, delete or add right from there. Couple of setup things/connections and I just moved things over in just a couple of clicks! Plus for a couple of people on the team is was free due to the low number of things they were transferring or from where, but even the price for larger or more cloud solutions was well worth it. Lots ability to share, sync and such as well, making it much easier for anyone to manage multiple cloud services. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** I was a little confused on the instructions at first, but got over it pretty quickly. I just felt a little more was needed, but again, overcame it quickly. The pricing is low (only $7.99 per month) with even more discount if bought quarterly or annually. Excellent Customer Support is available via phone and email. Moreover I have even found online video tutorials over the internet for this software. MultCLoud is supported on various devices and software platform including Linux, iOS, iPad and Android. Excellent security as well so I know my data won't get breached or stolen. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** I think the Languages supported needs to be increased. Currently, MultCloud only supports English. My team is spread all over Europe and South Asia. I mostly use Dropbox and box. Many of my clients and friends do as well. Having the ability to sync important files/folders between these two platforms makes everything a breeze. Before I had to manually upload files I needed to both services manually l, which was annoying since I would log into let’s say Dropbox looking for a file and not realizing I only had it on box. What I truly preferred about the administration is that it is free and boundless for all clients, with no paid plans or unlockables. I don't know for to what extent it will remain this way, so I prescribe you to get it while regardless you can. Joining was a breeze. One should simply enter a your email address, your picked secret key and a picked username. It doesn't gather any of your own subtle elements like name, address, telephone number, and so on. All of the file transferring is done by the service using high speed connections, so you don't have to worry about having your device connected to the internet while transferring files. You can set up the transfer and let the service transfer files for you. It allows you to easily manage files across a bunch of services by allowing you to delete, copy, move, organize and upload. You can also schedule transfers which is really useful for transfering files every night. It's extremely easy to use and simple. I was able to transfer over 25 gigs of files across Dropbox to Onedrive and it only took a few seconds to set up the transfer, with the files being copied over the span of a hour or two. The pricing of the service is inexpensive with free users getting upto 10TB of traffic for use towards file transfering **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** The service is still in its growing phase and so the bugs (not many but a few) are still being worked out. The GUI could definitely be improved as it looks somewhat unprofessional. In terms of security of data the website claims to use 256-bit SSL and OAUTH for authenticating cloud services but due to the websites unprofessional design it is a little hard to trust it with really important data. They do not have Android or iOS applications and it is unclear when they will be releasing them. **Recommendations to others considering MultCloud.com:** If you are looking for a service that allows you to transfer files between cloud storage lockers without having to be connected to the service 24/7 then this does exactly that. **What problems is MultCloud.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is really easy to use multiple storage lockers to store files efficiently and transfer items when necessary between services without the bottleneck of connection speeds or bandwidth utilization. We are able to sync across videos to multiple services to better use the space on the cloud storage services that we subscribe to. ### 24. I have the best example when I run out of space on Dropbox and had extra space on Box, before I found MultCloud I had to download everything to my computer and then re upload back to box. This took time, and a lot of bandwidth, I was lucky that I have flat package, someone with restricted package would not be able to do this at all. **What do you dislike about MultCloud.com?** Nothing, the software is as good as it can be. **Recommendations to others considering MultCloud.com:** Definitely a recommendation for everyone to use this piece of software as it's very useful and time saving. Also, it saves bandwidth and money if you don't have flat package. ### 25.
